Formulas are derived as approximate representations for the current and charge distributions along the elements of a linear array of parallel, nonstaggered cylindrical wires of generally unequal length. One element is a center-driven dipole electromagnetically coupled to the other elements, which are parasitic. These formulas are derived in extension of the well-known King-Wu three-term theory. As such, they represent an improvement--particularly for the charge distributions, which often very so rapidly near the driving point of the driven element that they cannot be handled by the simpler trigonometric terms of the three-term theory.
