Il commissario di polizia Nicola Teiro abita sulle alture di Genova. Nel cortile di casa un nibbio reale ha posto il suo nido. Tra lui e il rapace nasce un rapporto ‘domestico’ pieno di mistero e continui colpi di scena. Nel frattempo una sanguinosa rapina funesta la città. Il malvivente solitario uccide cinque persone, un fatto anomalo e inspiegabile. L’arresto di un ex terrorista e la presenza di un super testimone non convincono il commissario Teiro e l’ispettore Ester Miniati, mentre il dirigente del Ministero degli Interni Ramini, giunto appositamente da Roma, spinge per una rapida conclusione delle indagini, causa anche le imminenti elezioni politiche nazionali. Teiro e Miniati preferiscono condurre una indagine parallela, cercando di scoprire i segreti che anche le vittime sembrano nascondere. Aiutati da Vaclav, un clochard appena conosciuto e dai misteriosi messaggi che il nibbio continua a trasmettere, i due investigatori sveleranno una verità inaspettata e sorprendente. Massimo Ansaldo, nato a Varazze (Sv) nel 1959, vive a La Spezia. Esercita la professione di avvocato con studi a Genova e La Spezia. Presidente del Centro Culturale Don Alberto Zanini della Spezia è cofondatore dell’Associazione culturale Chesterton’s cigars and spirits club della Spezia. Membro del Comitato Regionale delle Comunicazioni (Corecom) della Regione Liguria. Ha pubblicato con Leucotea i romanzi Macerie e Il segno del sale. These volumes of the "Documentary History of the Jews in Italy," illustrate the history of the Jews in Genoa and surroundings from Antiquity to the French Revolution. The earliest documentary evidence takes the form of letters from King Theodoric. For the Middle Ages the documentation is relatively fragmentary and sporadic. Later there is greater abundance of historical evidence, which portrays chiefly the destinies of the Jews in the Republic from the sixteenth century on, when the presence of the Jews became permanent and a regular community was established also in the capital. The historical records presented illustrate mainly the relationship between the government of the Genoese Republic and the Jews, the latter's economic activities and their communal and social life. Some of the detailed descriptions of the Jewish population in Genoa, their living conditions and occupations, allow for a close examination of the social conditions of this Northern Italian community. For a while Genoa became a haven of refuge for some of the exiles from Spain, including the historian Joseph Hacohen and members of the Abarbanel family. The volumes are provided with an extensive introduction, bibliography, glossary and indexes.

E’ comodo definirsi scrittori da parte di chi non ha arte né parte. I letterati, che non siano poeti, cioè scrittori stringati, si dividono in narratori e saggisti. E’ facile scrivere “C’era una volta….” e parlare di cazzate con nomi di fantasia. In questo modo il successo è assicurato e non hai rompiballe che si sentono diffamati e che ti querelano e che, spesso, sono gli stessi che ti condannano. Meno facile è essere saggisti e scrivere “C’è adesso….” e parlare di cose reali con nomi e cognomi. Impossibile poi è essere saggisti e scrivere delle malefatte dei magistrati e del Potere in generale, che per logica ti perseguitano per farti cessare di scrivere. Devastante è farlo senza essere di sinistra. Quando si parla di veri scrittori ci si ricordi di Dante Alighieri e della fine che fece il primo saggista mondiale. Le vittime, vere o presunte, di soprusi, parlano solo di loro, inascoltati, pretendendo aiuto. Io da vittima non racconto di me e delle mie traversie. Ascoltato e seguito, parlo degli altri, vittime o carnefici, che l’aiuto cercato non lo concederanno mai. “Chi non conosce la verità è uno sciocco, ma chi, conoscendola, la chiama bugia, è un delinquente”. Aforisma di Bertolt Brecht. Bene. Tante verità soggettive e tante omertà son tasselli che la mente corrompono. Io le cerco, le filtro e nei miei libri compongo il puzzle, svelando l’immagine che dimostra la verità oggettiva censurata da interessi economici ed ideologie vetuste e criminali. Rappresentare con verità storica, anche scomoda ai potenti di turno, la realtà contemporanea, rapportandola al passato e proiettandola al futuro. Per non reiterare vecchi errori. Perché la massa dimentica o non conosce. Denuncio i difetti e caldeggio i pregi italici. Perché non abbiamo orgoglio e dignità per migliorarci e perché non sappiamo apprezzare, tutelare e promuovere quello che abbiamo ereditato dai nostri avi. Insomma, siamo bravi a farci del male e qualcuno deve pur essere diverso!
