La autora recurre a la figura geométrica de múltiples caras, voces y caminos, como el poliedro, en referencia "a los múltiples agentes y las fuentes de construcción que impulsan el proceso paritista latinoamericano". Los conceptos viajan y se adaptan. La movilización por la democracia paritaria que impulsan las europeas en Atenas en 1992 se expande en América Latina con connotaciones conceptuales y estratégicas ante los desafíos específicos que sufren las mujeres en la región con la mayor inequidad social y económica del mundo, en una búsqueda incesante por ampliar la definición de la paridad, vertical, horizontal y, ahora, transversal. La autora argumenta que no habrá paridad sustantiva sin un nuevo modelo sostenible de democracias feministas, con un Estado Social basado en la cultura de la igualdad sustantiva. Reivindica hacer efectiva la ciudadanía política y social de las mujeres: "lo social es paritario" es democrático y sostenible.

Pensar la docencia desde la complejidad educativa.
