Il cruciverba di Roccastrada di Cristiano Benci. Un vero e proprio cruciverba dedicato alla città di Roccastrada. Roccastrada è un comune italiano di 8 858 abitanti della provincia di Grosseto in Toscana. Il paese sorse in epoca medievale sulla vetta di una collina come possesso della famiglia Aldobrandeschi del ramo di Santa Fiora. Nel corso del Trecento, dopo una serie di lotte, venne conquistata dai Senesi che iniziarono lo sfruttamento delle vicine miniere di rame e argento e controllarono l'intera zona fino alla metà del Cinquecento, epoca in cui anche Roccastrada entrò a far parte del Granducato di Toscana, a seguito della definitiva caduta della Repubblica di Siena, avvenuta nel 1555. Il 24 luglio del 1921, una domenica, dopo una spedizione di settanta fascisti comandati dal segretario del fascio di Grosseto, Dino Castellani, durata un paio di ore, e in seguito all'uccisione sulla via del ritorno di Ivo Saletti, i fascisti diedero l'avvio a una rappresaglia che portò all'omicidio di dieci persone. I primi a cadere furono Tommaso Bartaletti e suo figlio Guido, e successivamente in seguito a colpi d'arma da fuoco e a pugnalate Angiolo Barni, Vincenzo Tacconi, Francesco Minocchieri, Luigi Nativi, Tizio Checcucci, Giuseppe Regoli, Giovanni Gori e Antonio Fabbri. Il processo del 1946 non portò alla condanna degli autori della spedizione e altresì accertò che il Saletti fu ucciso da un colpo partito accidentalmente da uno degli squadristi.

Il cruciverba di Gavorrano di Cristiano Benci. Un vero e proprio cruciverba dedicato alla città di Gavorrano. Gavorrano è un comune italiano di 8 364 abitanti della provincia di Grosseto in Toscana. Si trova sul versante settentrionale del Monte d'Alma a est di Scarlino, nel territorio delle Colline Metallifere grossetane e noto per i grandi giacimenti di pirite sfruttati intensamente fino ai primi anni ottanta del XX secolo. Il territorio di Gavorrano risulta essere frequentato già nel periodo etrusco, come testimoniano i resti di varie necropoli rinvenuti in aree pianeggianti ai piedi di Monte Calvo e risalenti al VII secolo a.C. (Poggio Pelliccia, San Germano, Santa Teresa), probabilmente aree sepolcrali di insediamenti oggi scomparsi e dipendenti dalla città-stato di Vetulonia. Gavorrano è citato per la prima volta in un documento del 1164, quando Federico I concesse al conte Alberto degli Alberti di Mangona di impossessarsi nuovamente del feudo. Il figlio di Alberto IV, Rainaldo Alberti di Mangona, governò Gavorrano fino alla morte, quando poi subentrarono i conti Pannocchieschi d'Elci, a metà del XIII secolo, che sottomisero il borgo prima al Comune di Volterra, e successivamente a quello di Massa Marittima (1320). Durante le lotte tra Massa e Siena, il borgo di Gavorrano finì per essere conquistato dalla città del Palio, anche se per un certo periodo, a partire dal 1379, rimase sotto il controllo della famiglia dei Malavolti. Nel 1465 Gavorrano fu ceduto definitivamente alla Repubblica di Siena e seguì inesorabilmente le sorti dello stato senese, prima di essere annesso al Granducato di Toscana alla metà del XVI secolo. Dopo secoli di spopolamento e anonimato, Gavorrano impose la sua storia a livelli nazionali dopo l'Unità d'Italia, quando nel 1898 fu scoperto da Francesco Alberti un importante giacimento di pirite nei pressi del paese. Gavorrano divenne centro minerario di assoluta importanza, possedendo una delle miniere di pirite più importanti d'Europa, e conobbe un forte incremento demografico negli anni dell'attività estrattiva, oltre che uno sviluppo urbano non indifferente con la nascita di nuovi moderni paesi (Bagno, Filare, Grilli, Potassa). Nel 1960 il territorio di Scarlino e della costa (Puntone, Portiglioni) si staccò da Gavorrano per formare un comune autonomo. Con la chiusura delle miniere nel 1981, fu registrato un significativo calo della popolazione; tuttavia, grazie alla valorizzazione dei vecchi luoghi d'estrazione e la presenza nel territorio comunale di borghi storici di interesse artistico (Caldana, Giuncarico, Ravi), Gavorrano si è riscoperto in tempi recenti importante località turistica della Maremma grossetana.

Civitella Paganico è un comune sparso italiano di 3 104 abitanti, nato dall'unione di varie precedenti frazioni. La sede municipale è Civitella Marittima ed appartiene alla provincia di Grosseto in Toscana. Il territorio era stato occupato nell'antichità da diversi piccoli centri etruschi di fase villanoviana e poi orientalizzante, passati quindi sotto il dominio romano. Dopo la caduta dell'Impero romano d'Occidente le terre non furono più coltivate e la valle dell'Ombrone si era andata impaludando. Con i Longobardi si ebbe una nuova occupazione del territorio, che passò quindi sotto il dominio feudale degli Ardengheschi e a vari signori locali. Venne quindi in possesso in varie fasi del Comune di Siena e con questa passò alla metà del XVI secolo al Granducato di Toscana. Nel 1926 il comune di Pari (comprendente anche Casale di Pari e resosi autonomo dal comune di Campagnatico nel 1920) fu aggregato a quello di Paganico, comprendente anche Civitella Marittima, e il 5 febbraio del 1928 venne creato il nuovo comune che prese il nome di Civitella Paganico.
