L’immagine che vi campeggia lo folgora: ritrae una sala di torture e un uomo di spalle in penombra. Si domanda perché, dopo quindici anni, qualcuno, recapitandogli quell’invito, abbia voluto riportarlo a un tempo oscuro che conosce bene, fatto di ricatti, torture e sadismo. È chiaro che questo qualcuno aveva in animo di rimestare in quella parte della sua vita che credeva cancellata, quand’era tutt’altro uomo: un lupo crudele affamato di vita, con un’altra identità. Sarà l’inizio di un viaggio nel passato, da compiere non soltanto con la mente ma anche con il corpo. Casimiro, infatti, si precipiterà a Perpignan con il primo treno, per capire chi sta cercando di mandargli un messaggio. E per quale motivo. Riuscirà a dire definitivamente addio all’uomo che è stato? A mettere per sempre a tacere i sinistri sussurri della coscienza? Daniela Frascati, nata ad Abbadia San Salvatore (Si), ha ideato e condotto per Radio Città Futura (1996) una trasmissione dal titolo “Il Pane e le Rose”. Vive a Roma dove ha lavorato come assistente parlamentare per un Gruppo. Ha curato, per lo stesso, un periodico dal titolo Inchiesta. Pubblica fin dal 2001 racconti in diverse antologie con altri autori, tra cui Camilleri, Carlotto, De Luca, Macchiavelli, Guccini, Marcialis, Ravera, Naspini. Oltre ad alcune antologie personali ha pubblicato i romanzi Nuda vita (ed. Absolutely Free), La Mala Eternità (ed Ensemble). Per Delos Digital i testi La Passeggera e Il gusto del sangue.
