Le Profezie di Geremia e dei Profeti di Dio contro le Nazioni antiche, visti in rapporto a Gerusalemme, centro mondiale della fede monoteista del tempo di Geremia, sono simbolo di ciò che accadrà nel Futuro alle Nazioni moderne in rapporto a Roma, centro mondiale della Fede monoteista del giorno d’ oggi, perché il Cristianesimo è l’ erede dell’ Ebraismo, da dopo la distruzione di Gerusalemme e la diaspora del Popolo di Israele del 70 d.C. messa in atto dai Romani e dall’ Imperatore loro Tito. Ragion per cui, chi volesse sapere qualcosa sul futuro dell’ America, deve informarsi sulle Profezie di Geremia sull’ antico Egitto; e chi vorrà sapere il Futuro della Russia, dovrebbe vedere le Profezie dei Profeti di Dio sull’ Assiria e la storia del 2° Cavaliere dell’ Apocalisse; e chi volesse sapere il Futuro della Cina, deve guardare le Profezie su Babilonia e la storia del 4° Cavaliere dell’ Apocalisse; e chi volesse sapere qualcosa sul Futuro del Giappone consulti le Profezie sull’ Elam e la storia del 3° Cavaliere dell’ Apocalisse; e così via. Così le Profezie dei Profeti di Dio sul mondo antico sono visioni del Futuro delle Nazioni moderne, che abbiano le caratteristiche delle Nazioni antiche, perché i rapporti fra Israele e gli altri Popoli antichi sono gli stessi di quelli del Cristianesimo e della Chiesa di Gesù a Roma, rispetto gli Stati moderni, che abbiano le caratteristiche di quelli antichi; ed una caratteristica fondamentale è quella della posizione geografica, rispetto Roma, degli Stati attuali, così come quella della posizione geografica degli Stati antichi rispetto Gerusalemme.

Taking its bearing from the mission statement in prophet Jeremiah’s vocation narrative (Jer 1:10), the book examines YHWH’s events of deconstruction and reconstruction in Israel of the Old Testament. Through the analysis of the six verbs—namely, “pluck up,” “pull down,” “demolish,” “destroy,” “build,” and “plant,” the book gives a different dimension to the common impression that Jeremiah is a prophet of woes and laments; thereby limiting his prophecies to only oracles of destruction, hence total annihilation. Rather, it investigates Jeremiah’s prophecies as flying with two wings: oracles of judgement and oracles of salvation. In other words, the oracles are not only against the nations but also for the nations. With the exile of the Israelites and their restoration to the land in view, according to the book of Jeremiah, YHWH continues His creative and restorative acts and depicts the divine full involvement and control of Israel’s history. In like manner, the book portrays the abiding divine presence in the history of humankind in general. Therefore, Israel is only used to form a bridge of YHWH’s concern for the nations; hence the entire humanity. As YHWH sets the history of Israel in motion, so He performs for the rest of humanity. The goal of which has always been for the good and salvation of humankind of which the culmination is in the person and advent of Jesus Christ.
