In the first pages of the Zibaldone, Leopardi had noted that the "love of learning" induces a passion for philosophy, making it a foundational element of modern culture. In this perspective, then, no doubt remains as to the prominent position of Voltaire's Candide, or of Rousseau's thought, which combines philosophical thinking, educational demands, political passion and autobiography. However, in order to move from the count to the novel, from the apologue and from the treatises to complex characters who also maintain a strong and speculative allure, one had to leave the 18th century, experience Romanticism, feed the rêveries of the new promeneurs solitaires during the following century, with the restlessness and the questions of Dostoevsky, Kafka, Sartre, Camus, and of Pirandello, Proust, Musil and many others; of those who combined the passion for short stories with the unmasking of any deceptive theodicy. Bringing the the novel back to bourgeois intertwining and existential anxieties, starting from Cervantes's ironic way of thinking. In the absence of declarations, however, where does one find the evidence of the presence of the philosophique in the novel, or how does one identify texts pertaining to the definition of roman philosophique? This book, conceived and edited by Anna Dolfi, does not only raises the problem, but tries to solve it as well. At the same time, it brings the ideas of the novel and from the novel together with constructive theories, and compares the insignificant with significance, mythical emblems and codes, semiosis and destiny, while also observing how language, in the parade of the authors, changes itself and even touches the figurativeness of the graphic-novel. This volume constitutes the final point of arrival of a path which, in samples, locks significant fragments in the otherwise infinite kaleidoscope of narration.

Quante maschere , vivono in noi , le quali rappresentano l'essere noi stessi , attraverso la nostra inconscia esperienza. Fenomenologia degli stati d’animo che conduce verso mondi sovrumani e vivissimi incantesimi , conducono oltre quello che vediamo, attraverso la nostra coscienza nell’iperrealismo, rappresentazione di un mondo in continuo divenire , che non tralascia l'errore insito del sapere, assumendo spesso la forma di un dialogo metafisico . La mia ricerca ontologica si è andata , affinando nel termine preciso di una distopia letteraria , tra miriadi di drammi , attraverso argomenti surreali e diverse volte , mi sono ritrovato in vicoli gonfi e cupi a scrivere confusi versi sull'amore e sull' arte che mi hanno spinto ad andare avanti nel mio sognare ad occhi aperti. Non ho indietreggiato, ne avuto paura di cosa m'aspettasse alla fine di quel mio tragitto poetico , filologico, immerso in una forma narrativa viva nel suo contesto linguistico , retorico a tratti che non mette il capello nei giorni di festa ne fa l’artista per strada gratis . Ed il narrare per rime assurde , mi ha atteso impaziente che ogni cosa passasse , come fa ogni buon retore con le sue oratorie . Le finestre della case popolare , nelle disperse periferie sono semichiuse , tutti dormono ed il mio viaggio nella dimensione poetica, prende il volo, verso altre dimensioni psichiche , forme chete, nere, stereotipate nella loro vertiginosa ideologia che mi trasportano verso radure e boschi ombrosi . Mi conducono verso il mare della fantasia . Verso un lago salmastro ove un immagine lasciva, bagna le sue membra, dove emerge l’ animo afflitto in un concetto utopico . Ed il cielo è la terra si coniugano , si uniscono nella iperbolica ricerca della bellezza del divenire. La morte di uno stile , narrativo, riassume sempre una sua forma grammaticale . E la verità emerge come se fosse il volo di un angelo nel cielo che si trastulla da solo , amoreggia, vezzeggia nella grazia di una resurrezione individuale, ove viene esplorato il fantastico mondo dell’arte e della rappresentazione . Un mondo a noi parallelo , che riassume ogni principio ed ogni intuizione lirica , rappresentazione di un mondo di emozioni , assopite dentro di noi che prendono vita , emergono dal fondo della coscienza. E in questa dimensione psichica individuale si ode la voce di un mondo plasmato ad immagine dell'originale creatore che non rinnega la propria creazione , frutto della sua fantasia . Sostanzialmente la società è un crogiolo di drammi individuali, pezzi di storia che s’uniscono all’unisono , nell’atto illuminante la scena dove vengo rappresentati . Ma la nostra storia va ben oltre quello che vediamo e sentiamo , si realizza nella meccanica delle parole eccentriche , riunite in una sintesi di forme metriche che esulano il contesto storico e sfociano nella genealogia di una morale senza tempo. Noi perseguiamo , ideali e utopia che spesso non hanno senso , nel loro contesto storico , sembrano tanti incipit di una storia letteraria che c'invita a narrare sempre noi stessi . Ogni realtà si realizza in vari personaggi , che io vado creando nella mia logica creativa . Perseguo nel filo del discorso drammatico , sono un creativo, non di certo un cattivo personaggio , una maschera malvagia , mi piace fare ciò che mi piace, scrivere in genere e non ho ideali precisi per giungere alla fine di questo discorso legato all’intuizione intellettuale . Ed io faccio parte di un meccanismo creativo assai simile ad una rotella arrugginita , che gira e rigira in questa pericolosa macchina creativa , produttrice di valori , di ideali , di racconti volgari , di immagini sessuali , frutto del doloroso parto di un mondo poetico , modello di virtù e drammi su generis. Io sono un dramma, la forma di un dialogo angelico in cui la divinità del creato vive in me.
