The efforts are needed for sensitive and accurate diagnosis that can utilize to rapidly map the prevalence of the disease. Our study aimed to benefit from the necessity of the S. mansoni for enzyme TGR, in utilization of the enzyme as an antigen target and evaluate its efficacy in the diagnosis of S. mansoni infection patients. The results revealed that smTGR could be detected in various organs of infected mice and localized in all parasites life cycle stages except eggs using smTGR pAb. Sandwich ELISA reveled that this antigen can be relied as a diagnostic antigen target in serum and urine.

The above features are imposing technical challenges on system design and stimulating various research topics on capacity, complexity and performance. In order to increase the capacity of wireless networks, various multiple access schemes have been reported in the literature. The credit of most competent multiple access scheme in 2G systems goes to CDMA scheme which offers an even better bandwidth-efficiency than TDMA and FDMA schemes, however, its implementation is quite difficult due to involvement of rather complex technologies including complex power-control, and multiuser detection techniques etc. The requirement of alternate mechanism for user separation has been solved by Interleave-Division Multiple-Access (IDMA) scheme, in which, most of above stated problems do not exist due to application of user-specific interleavers having low cross-correlation amongst them. The interleaved data resulted from user-specific interleavers, demonstrates better orthogonality amongst each other in the channel. The condition of orthogonality is maintained for reducing the risk of collision amongst the interleavers during communication process. In IDMA scheme, orthogonal interleavers are employed as the only means for user separation and, hence, are referred as the heart of the scheme. The selection of interleaver along with optimum design methodology for proposed tree based interleaving (TBI) mechanism for IDMA scheme fulfilling the requirement of orthogonality and easy implementation. In the beginning of work, the mechanism of interleaving with necessary conditions is presented. Later, the performance and analysis of proposed TBI mechanism with IDMA scheme has been presented. Apart from the bit error rate (BER) performance analysis, the interleavers have also been analyzed on the basis of memory requirement and computational complexity at transmitter and receiver ends. Here, The performance evaluation of IDMA scheme with proposed tree based interleaving (TBI) mechanism, in uncoded and coded environments, has been duly investigated along with its implementation.

Multiple demographic or economic parameters contribute to the origin of emerging infections, for example: poverty, urbanization, climate change, conflicts and population migrations. All these factors are a challenge to assess the impact (present and future) of parasitic diseases on public health. The intestine is a major target of these infections; it is a nutrient-rich environment harbouring a complex and dynamic population of 100 trillion microbes: the microbiome. Most researches on the microbiome focus on bacteria, which share the gut ecosystem with a population of uni- and multi cellular eukaryotic organisms that may prey on them. Our interest focuses on the families of eukaryotic microbes inhabiting the intestine, called “intestinal eukaryome”, that include fungi, protists and helminths. Knowledge on the reciprocal influence between the microbiome and the eukaryome, and on their combined impact on homeostasis and intestinal diseases is scanty and can be considered as an important emerging field. Furthermore, the factors that differentiate pathogenic eukaryotes from commensals are still unknown. This book presents an overview of the science presented and discussed in the First Eukaryome Congress held from October 16th to 18th, 2019 at the Pasteur Institute in Paris. Human schistosomes (blood flukes) are digenetic trematodes that spend the adult part of their life cycle in humans and a further part in aquatic snails. Despite advances in chemotherapy, schistosomiasis is still a significant infection in the populations of several countries in the tropics. This book replaces a previous volume Schistosomiasis: Epidemiology, Treatment and Control (Heinemann, 1982) by Jordan and Webbe. All chapters have been rewritten by internationally renowned workers. The soil-transmitted nematode parasites, or geohelminths, are - called because they have a direct life cycle, which involves no intermediate hosts or vectors, and are transmitted by faecal contamination of soil, foodstuffs and water supplies. They all inhabit the intestine in their adult stages but most species also have tissue-migratoryjuvenile stages, so the disease manifestations they cause can therefore be both local and systemic. The geohelminths together present an enormous infection burden on humanity. Those which cause the most disease in humans are divided into three main groupings, Ascaris lumbricoides (the large roundworm), Trichuris trichiura (whipworm), and the blood-feeding hookworms (Ancylostoma duodenale and Necator americanus ), and this book concentrates on these. These intestinal parasites are highly prevalent worldwide, A. lumbricoides is estimated to infect 1471 million (over a quarter ofthe world’s population), hookworms 1277 million, and T. trichiura 1049 million. The highly pathogenic Strongyloides species might also be classified as geohelminths, but they are not dealt with here because the understanding of their epidemiology, immunology and genetics has not advanced as rapidly as for the others. This is primarily because of the often covert nature of the infections, with consequent difficulties for analysis. If there is ever a second edition of this book, then there will hopefully be much to say about this infection.
