DANGER CAVE and HOGUP CAVE were milestones in Great Basin archaeological studies. Available again, these volumes explore Danger and Hogup caves, sites that though they are located about sixty miles apart in the Great Salt Lake Desert, are nevertheless archaeologically related. Containing fill dating from approximately 6,400 BC through historic times, the data from both caves present insights into the lifeways of successive peoples who, over thousands of years, adapted to changes in the desert environment.
