È lo stesso invito a vedere il pensiero keynesiano come «una rivoluzione intellettuale incompiuta e non come condensato di precetti suscettibili di essere adoperati senza tener conto del modificarsi delle vicende storiche!». La prospettiva adottata dall’Autore è quella di interpretare sia i fenomeni economici sia la lettura che ne danno gli studiosi senza rinunciare ad alcuni “punti fermi”, riassumibili in «una visione del mondo che affida alla responsabilità dell’uomo le possibilità del miglioramento sociale».
