La guerra russo-ucraina, scatenata da Putin con l’aggressione di uno stato sovrano in aperta violazione del diritto internazionale, ha enormemente acutizzato le negatività del tempo che viviamo. Diventa più che mai necessario “puntare sull’improbabile”, come ha affermato Edgar Morin, e aprirsi al “principio speranza”, di cui scrisse nel Novecento Ernst Bloch. Il libro, che deve molto all’opera di Raimon Panikkar, muove dall’urgenza di lavorare per un nuovo umanesimo dialogico e interculturale e cerca di mettere a fuoco correttamente come operare in concreto per un mondo migliore, fuori da astratte utopie e posizioni ideologiche lontane dalla realtà. La domanda di fondo è: è ancora possibile praticare un atteggiamento di pace e di dialogo e operare per la giustizia? Che vuol dire propriamente la parola “dialogo”, e perché oggi non può che essere “interculturale”, e quindi accogliere culture diverse da quella occidentale senza minimamente abdicare ai nostri valori (ragione critica, diritti umani, democrazia, libertà) ma relativizzandoli? Nel contesto drammatico aperto dalla guerra, ci può aiutare riflettere su una celebre “parola” di Gesù, “Chi è senza peccato scagli la prima pietra”?

Perdere una persona cara è un’esperienza sconvolgente, che interviene drasticamente nel quotidiano, mettendo in discussione i punti di riferimento, le piccole certezze costruite nell’arco di una vita. Come un altro mondo è un viaggio attraverso le emozioni, le dinamiche interiori e le pratiche comunicative e relazionali che riguardano il lutto, inteso come vissuto che coinvolge il dolente e il mondo intorno a lui. Partendo dai risultati di una ricerca empirica, il libro entra nel merito delle caratteristiche dei cosiddetti gruppi di auto mutuo aiuto dedicati a questo tema e presenti in Rete e nella classica modalità vis à vis. Gli AMA, così come sono sinteticamente etichettati, rappresentano delle risorse sociali, antropologiche e psicologiche per chi ha vissuto una perdita importante, e trovano il loro fondamento in alcuni principi: il rispetto, la valorizzazione della relazione, il prendersi cura dei nuovi membri, la riscoperta della dimensione “micro” e profonda della relazione con l’altro. Principi che ricordano molto i valori costitutivi delle comunità tradizionali, di cui i gruppi (tradizionali e on-line) potrebbero essere una rivisitazione in chiave Iper-Moderna. Il percorso proposto vuole tenere insieme più prospettive (quella antropologica, quella psico-sociologica e quella prettamente comunicativa), cercando di fare un passo ulteriore e offrire un modello di lettura di queste realtà. Un modello che possa restituire la complessità del quadro italiano in merito ai gruppi AMA sul lutto e che possa essere un punto di partenza per la strutturazione di una metodologia consolidata e unitaria.
