Hacer historia no es lo mismo que realizar recuentos de hechos pasados, sino que tal ejercicio implica una actividad analítica e interpretativa, aunque muchas veces, necesariamente, deba basarse en la evocación de situaciones problemáticas anteriores a los actuales, lo que equivale a afirmar que dicho ejercicio posee un alto grado de complejidad y de dominio, no solo de la temática sobre la cual se quiere reconstruir una visión renovada del estado del arte en indagación, sino también por la técnica histórico-investigativa. El texto que se presenta a continuación es el resultado parcial de una investigación específica, realizada en coautoría por los profesores vinculados al grupo de investigación Instituciones Jurídicas y Desarrollo –IJUD- y adscritos al departamento de Ciencia Jurídica y Política y en ejercicio docente en la Carrera de Derecho de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Cali, y evidencia las dinámicas investigativas y comunicativas de integración disciplinar al interior del grupo, cuyo objetivo general fue indagar sobre cómo desde la filosofía hermenéutica se pueden interpretar instituciones jurídicas colombianas en perspectiva histórica, propuesta auspiciada patrimonialmente por la misma institución y enmarcada en un macro proyecto sobre la Hermenéutica gadameriana.
