El derecho de las mujeres a no ser juzgadas por patrones de género ha conseguido que se condenen y persigan muchas formas de esclavitud, explotación y maltrato a las mujeres (laboral, sexual y cultural). Pero en este proceso de deconstrucción de estereotipos con el que se compromete la comunidad internacional, emergen prácticas disfrazadas de libertad que, lejos de liberar a la mujer, vuelven a esclavizarlas. Prostitución ¿libre?, gestación subrogada ¿altruista?, imagen sexualizada de las mujeres ¿empoderadas?...
