Integral Representations For Spatial Models Of Mathematical Physics written by Vladislav V Kravchenko and has been published by CRC Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-11-26 with Mathematics categories.

This book provides a new mathematical theory for the treatment of an ample series of spatial problems of electrodynamics, particle physics, quantum mechanics and elasticity theory. This technique proves to be as powerful for solving the spatial problems of mathematical physics as complex analysis is for solving planar problems. The main analytic tool of the book, a non-harmonic version of hypercomplex analysis recently developed by the authors, is presented in detail. There are given applications of this theory to the boundary value problems of electrodynamics and elasticity theory as well as to the problem of quark confinement. A new approach to the linearization of special classes of the self-duality equation is also considered. Detailed proofs are given throughout. The book contains an extensive bibliography on closely related topics. This book will be of particular interest to academic and professional specialists and students in mathematics and physics who are interested in integral representations for partial differential equations. The book is self-contained and could be used as a main reference for special course seminars on the subject.

Clifford Algebras continues to be a fast-growing discipline, with ever-increasing applications in many scientific fields. This volume contains the lectures given at the Fourth Conference on Clifford Algebras and their Applications in Mathematical Physics, held at RWTH Aachen in May 1996. The papers represent an excellent survey of the newest developments around Clifford Analysis and its applications to theoretical physics. Audience: This book should appeal to physicists and mathematicians working in areas involving functions of complex variables, associative rings and algebras, integral transforms, operational calculus, partial differential equations, and the mathematics of physics.

The second part of a two-volume set concerning the field of Clifford (geometric) algebra, this work consists of thematically organized chapters that provide a broad overview of cutting-edge topics in mathematical physics and the physical applications of Clifford algebras. from applications such as complex-distance potential theory, supersymmetry, and fluid dynamics to Fourier analysis, the study of boundary value problems, and applications, to mathematical physics and Schwarzian derivatives in Euclidean space. Among the mathematical topics examined are generalized Dirac operators, holonomy groups, monogenic and hypermonogenic functions and their derivatives, quaternionic Beltrami equations, Fourier theory under Mobius transformations, Cauchy-Reimann operators, and Cauchy type integrals.

This volume consists of four contributions that are based on a series of lectures delivered by Jens Frehse. Konstantin Pikeckas, K.R. Rajagopal and Wolf von Wahl t the Fourth Winter School in Mathematical Theory in Fluid Mechanics, held in Paseky, Czech Republic, from December 3-9, 1995. In these papers the authors present the latest research and updated surveys of relevant topics in the various areas of theoretical fluid mechanics. Specifically, Frehse and Ruzicka study the question of the existence of a regular solution to Navier-Stokes equations in five dimensions by means of weighted estimates. Pileckas surveys recent results regarding the solvability of the Stokes and Navier-Stokes system in domains with outlets at infinity. K.R. Rajagopal presents an introduction to a continuum approach to mixture theory with the emphasis on the constitutive equation, boundary conditions and moving singular surface. Finally, Kaiser and von Wahl bring new results on stability of basic flow for the Taylor-Couette problem in the small-gap limit. This volume would be indicated for those in the fields of applied mathematicians, researchers in fluid mechanics and theoretical mechanics, and mechanical engineers.

Numerical Analysis 1997 written by D.F. Griffiths and has been published by CRC Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1997-12-05 with Mathematics categories.

This book forms a valuable guide to the direction in which current numerical analysis research is heading. It will be of particular interest to graduate students and researchers concerned with the theoretical and practical issues associated with scientific computation. The main topics include ordinary and partial differential equations, fluid flow, optimization, linear algebra, and approximation theory. Two recurring themes are the need for adaptive and structure preserving numerical methods. The work presented here has a list of direct applications that include colliding black holes, molecular dynamics, blow-up problems, and card shuffling.

:The author of this volume defines a diffusion flow for a variational problem lacking completeness related to the geometry of a contact form a a and a vector field u in its kernel. He analyzes the ends of the flow lines and finds them to be of two types: one involving periodic orbits of the Reeb (Hamiltonian) vector field x, and the other where asymptotes occur. In the most general case these turn out to be periodic motions for x up to quantic jumps of a very special type along u. He shows that the mathematical results and the physical interpretation fit and provide new points of view useful in the foundations of quantum mechanics.
