Tujuan studi ini adalah Menganalisis estimasi proses pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga melalui kampung organik dalam persektif ekonomi lingkungan, Menyediakan hasil upaya pemerintah Kota Magelang dalam mendorong pengelolaan sampah di masyarakat melalui kampung organik dan Menyediakan asumsi sampel proses bisnis kampung organik berbasis standar untuk mengevaluasi dan memilih di antara proyek minimisasi sampah padat yang bersaing untuk menentukan mana yang paling sesuai dengan tujuan kampung organik dan menjaga kompatibilitas dengan proses yang ada. Instrumen yang dikorelasikan terdiri dari kualitas yang dibutuhkan dan karakteristik kualitas. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan sesuai dengan prinsip dan kerangka kerja yang dirinci dalam Quality Function Deployment (QFD) untuk menilai potensi dampak ekonomi lingkungan terhadap pengelolaan sampah dalam Kampung organik. Sebuah komunitas Legok Makmur yang dilibatkan dengan menjelaskan dampak ekonomi lingkungan yang dihitung oleh studi penilaian house of quality. Analisis house of quality disusun dengan asumsi sampel Kampung Organik Legok Makmur. Hasilnya terdapat empat karakteristik kualitas yang perlu diperbaiki yaitu Dampak terhadap pemasaran produk dengan nilai 2,5, Waktu implementasi dengan nilai 3,0, Biaya pelatihan dengan nilai 3,8, Biaya awal (vendor, kontraktor, in-house) dengan nilai 4,4. Disamping itu penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi penggunaan House of Quality untuk mengidentifikasi kampung organik yang ada di Kota Magelang baik yang aktif dan tidak aktif serta wilayah lain.
