Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2011 im Fachbereich Didaktik für das Fach Deutsch - Deutsch als Fremdsprache, DaF, Note: 1,0, Universität Kassel, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im heutigen Fremdsprachenunterricht wird nicht nur Sprache, sondern auch Kultur im Hinblick auf soziale Zusammenhänge vermittelt. Das heißt, es werden unbestritten Politik, Gesellschaft, Wirtschaft und Kultur eines anderen Landes durch die Sprachvermittlung transportiert, da der Sprachunterricht von jeher und mit verschiedener Intention auch dem Ziel der Vermittlung von Kenntnissen über das Land und den soziokulturellen Hintergrund der Zielsprache verpflichtet ist. Anders als in Deutschland ist Fremdsprachenunterricht erst seit der Gründung der Volksrepublik China 1949 ein integraler Bestandteil der Schul- und Hochschulbildung. Die Didaktik Deutsch als Fremdsprache in China, darunter auch Landeskunde der deutschsprachigen Länder, bildet kein eigenes theoretisches System. Landeskunde erhielt in China lange Zeit wenig Wertschätzung. Während in Deutschland seit den 1960er Jahren verschiedene Ansätze der Landeskunde entwickelt worden sind, bleibt der faktische Ansatz in China von Anfang an ein vorherrschendes Konzept (vgl. Li 2007: 65). In den letzten Jahren wird jedoch große Aufmerksamkeit auf die neue Orientierung der landeskundlichen Didaktik geschenkt. Das Lehrwerk spielt eine entscheidende Rolle im Fremdsprachenunterricht, insbesondere für ein von der Zielsprache weit entferntes Land wie China, um die soziokulturellen Bezüge systematisch zu vermitteln. Bis heute liegt noch keine wissenschaftliche Analyse der Vermittlung der Landeskunde in DaF-Lehrwerken in China vor. Aus eigenen Erfahrungen im Studium in China ist mir bekannt, dass im Unterricht meistens Daten und Zahlen über deutschsprachige Länder gelehrt werden. Diese Erfahrungen haben mich motiviert, ein chinesisches und ein deutsches DaF-Lehrwerk unter landeskundlichem Aspekt zu untersuchen, die zu der jeweiligen neuen Lehrwerkgeneration gehören. Dabei soll ein Vergleich unter folgenden Fragestellungen geleistet werden: Welche landeskundlichen Informationen und Kenntnisse über die deutschsprachigen Länder werden sowohl in dem chinesischen als auch in dem deutschen Lehrwerk vermittelt? Welche nicht? Nach welchen didaktischen Ansätzen werden die landeskundlichen Inhalte in beiden DaF-Lehrwerken gestaltet? Gibt es landeskundliche Elemente in beiden DaF-Lehrwerken, die die interkulturelle Kompetenz der Lernenden trainieren können? Meine Intention ist es, die Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede bei der Vermittlung der Landeskunde zwischen den chinesischen und deutschen DaF-Lehrwerken zu untersuchen.
