The first edition of this well known book was noted for its clear and accessible exposition of the basic theory of Hardy spaces from the concrete point of view (in the unit circle and the half plane). The intention was to give the reader, assumed to know basic real and complex variable theory and a little functional analysis, a secure foothold in the basic theory, and to understand its applications in other areas. For this reason, emphasis is placed on methods and the ideas behind them rather than on the accumulation of as many results as possible. The second edition retains that intention, but the coverage has been extended. The author has included two appendices by V. P. Havin, on Peter Jones' interpolation formula, and Havin's own proof of the weak sequential completeness of L1/H1(0); in addition, numerous amendments, additions and corrections have been made throughout.

An Introduction To Operators On The Hardy Hilbert Space written by Ruben A. Martinez-Avendano and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2007-03-12 with Mathematics categories.
This book offers an elementary and engaging introduction to operator theory on the Hardy-Hilbert space. It provides a firm foundation for the study of all spaces of analytic functions and of the operators on them. Blending techniques from "soft" and "hard" analysis, the book contains clear and beautiful proofs. There are numerous exercises at the end of each chapter, along with a brief guide for further study which includes references to applications to topics in engineering.

Introduction To Fourier Analysis On Euclidean Spaces

Introduction To Fourier Analysis On Euclidean Spaces written by Elias M. Stein and has been published by Princeton University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-06-02 with Mathematics categories.
The authors present a unified treatment of basic topics that arise in Fourier analysis. Their intention is to illustrate the role played by the structure of Euclidean spaces, particularly the action of translations, dilatations, and rotations, and to motivate the study of harmonic analysis on more general spaces having an analogous structure, e.g., symmetric spaces.

The author gives a systematic study of the Hardy spaces of functions with values in the noncommutative $Lp$-spaces associated with a semifinite von Neumann algebra $\mathcal{M .$ This is motivated by matrix valued Harmonic Analysis (operator weighted norm inequalities, operator Hilbert transform), as well as by the recent development of noncommutative martingale inequalities. in this paper noncommutative Hardy spaces are defined by noncommutative Lusin integral function, and it isproved that they are equivalent to those defined by noncommutative Littlewood-Paley G-functions. The main results of this paper include: (i) The analogue in the author's setting of the classical Fefferman duality theorem between $\mathcal{H 1$ and $\mathrm{BMO $. (ii) The atomic decomposition of theauthor's noncommutative $\mathcal{H 1.$ (iii) The equivalence between the norms of the noncommutative Hardy spaces and of the noncommutative $Lp$-spaces $(1

Wavelets And Operators written by Yves Meyer and has been published by Cambridge University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1992 with Mathematical analysis categories.
Over the last two years wavelet methods have shown themselves to be of considerable use to harmonic analysts and in particular advances, have been made concerning their applications. The strength of wavelet methods lies in their ability to describe local phenomena more accurately than a traditional expansion in sines and cosines can. Thus wavelets are ideal in many fields where an approach to transient behaviour is needed; for example, in considering acoustic or seismic signals, or in image processing. Yves Meyer stands the theory of wavelets firmly upon solid ground in the shape of the fundamental work of Calderon, Zygmund and their collaborators. For anyone who would like an introduction to wavelets, this book will prove to be a necessary purchase.

Partial Inner Product Spaces written by J-P Antoine and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009-12-08 with Mathematics categories.
Partial Inner Product (PIP) Spaces are ubiquitous, e.g. Rigged Hilbert spaces, chains of Hilbert or Banach spaces (such as the Lebesgue spaces Lp over the real line), etc. In fact, most functional spaces used in (quantum) physics and in signal processing are of this type. The book contains a systematic analysis of PIP spaces and operators defined on them. Numerous examples are described in detail and a large bibliography is provided. Finally, the last chapters cover the many applications of PIP spaces in physics and in signal/image processing, respectively. As such, the book will be useful both for researchers in mathematics and practitioners of these disciplines.

Written in honor of Victor Havin (1933–2015), this volume presents a collection of surveys and original papers on harmonic and complex analysis, function spaces and related topics, authored by internationally recognized experts in the fields. It also features an illustrated scientific biography of Victor Havin, one of the leading analysts of the second half of the 20th century and founder of the Saint Petersburg Analysis Seminar. A complete list of his publications, as well as his public speech "Mathematics as a source of certainty and uncertainty", presented at the Doctor Honoris Causa ceremony at Linköping University, are also included.
