Differential equations are often used in mathematical models for technological processes or devices. However, the design of a differential mathematical model iscrucial anddifficult in engineering. As a hands-on approach to learn how to pose a differential mathematical modelthe authors have selected 9 examples with important practical application and treat them as following:- Problem-setting and physical model formulation- Designing the differential mathematical model- Integration of the differential equations- Visualization of results Each step of the development ofa differential model isenriched by respective Mathcad 11commands, todays necessary linkage of engineering significance and high computing complexity. TOC:Differential Mathematical Models.- Integrable Differential Equations.- Dynamic Model of the System with Heat Engineering.- Stiff Differential Equations.- Heat Transfer near the Critical Point.- The Faulkner- Skan Equation of Boundary Layer.- The Rayleigh Equation: Hydronamic Instability.- Kinematic Waves of Concentration in Ion- Exchange Filters.- Kinematic Shock Waves.- Numerical Modelling of the CPU-board Temperature Field.- Temperature Waves.

A Practical Introduction To Beam Physics And Particle Accelerators written by Santiago Bernal and has been published by Morgan & Claypool Publishers this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-03-01 with Science categories.
This book is a brief exposition of the principles of beam physics and particle accelerators with emphasis on numerical examples employing readily available computer tools. Avoiding detailed derivations, we invite the reader to use general high-end languages such as Mathcad and Matlab, as well as specialized particle accelerator codes (e.g. MAD, WinAgile, Elegant, and others) to explore the principles presented. This approach allows the student to readily identify relevant design parameters and their scaling and easily adapt computer input files to other related situations.

Optics written by Karl Dieter Moeller and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2007-09-05 with Science categories.
This new edition is intended for a one semester course in optics for juniors and seniors in science and engineering. It uses scripts from Maple, MathCad, Mathematica, and MATLAB to provide a simulated laboratory where students can learn by exploration and discovery instead of passive absorption. The text covers all the standard topics of a traditional optics course. It contains step by step derivations of all basic formulas in geometrical, wave and Fourier optics. The threefold arrangement of text, applications, and files makes the book suitable for "self-learning" by scientists or engineers who would like to refresh their knowledge of optics.

Introduction To Statistical Mechanics Solutions To Problems written by John Dirk Walecka and has been published by World Scientific Publishing Company this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-08-25 with Science categories.
Statistical mechanics is concerned with defining the thermodynamic properties of a macroscopic sample in terms of the properties of the microscopic systems of which it is composed. The previous book Introduction to Statistical Mechanics provided a clear, logical, and self-contained treatment of equilibrium statistical mechanics starting from Boltzmann's two statistical assumptions, and presented a wide variety of applications to diverse physical assemblies. An appendix provided an introduction to non-equilibrium statistical mechanics through the Boltzmann equation and its extensions. The coverage in that book was enhanced and extended through the inclusion of many accessible problems. The current book provides solutions to those problems. These texts assume only introductory courses in classical and quantum mechanics, as well as familiarity with multi-variable calculus and the essentials of complex analysis. Some knowledge of thermodynamics is also assumed, although the analysis starts with an appropriate review of that topic. The targeted audience is first-year graduate students and advanced undergraduates, in physics, chemistry, and the related physical sciences. The goal of these texts is to help the reader obtain a clear working knowledge of the very useful and powerful methods of equilibrium statistical mechanics and to enhance the understanding and appreciation of the more advanced texts.
