Legend Of Santa Claus How Santa Came To Be written by Kevin D. Thomas and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-11-09 with categories.

The Legend of Santa Claus was written to help teach children about the true meaning of Christmas, which is to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, while also being able to celebrate the secular tradition of Santa Claus. This story teaches what Santa is really about without dampening the whole magical tradition of Christmas. It provides a method for helping children understand the difference between the reality of Jesus Christ and the legend of Santa Claus. I didn't want my own children and grandchildren to be confused by the things we say and do at Christmas time that could bring serious misunderstandings in their minds. It started out as just a poem I wrote. When I met George and Ruth Olson and realized their talents in art I asked them to help me turn my poem into a book. This little gem is the result and is my first published book. I hope you find it enjoyable and helpful in teaching your children about Santa Claus without undermining their learning about Jesus Christ. For Christian Children it is not always easy to understand the concept of putting their faith, trust and belief in a being with miraculous powers, who they cannot see, and not get confused between the two of them. We hope you enjoy this short read and the beautiful imagery created for this story. Jesus Christ truly is our Savior and He Lives! I love to celebrate His birth at Christmas. It is my favorite time of year. Merry Christmas!

Santa Makes Four is a simple story of a girl and her mom at the time of the inevitable talk about Santa. Christians everywhere struggle to relate Santa Claus to the story of Jesus. Some parishes choose to have Santa come during Christmas Eve mass and kneel before the baby Jesus. If this is true of your parish, you know that the sounds of the gasps in the church from the watching children are magical. This is often the only time the two stories are paired for a child, and even then, the connection is not clear. Santa Makes Four strengthens that bond and weaves the details of Santa Claus into the tenets of the Trinity and Christian faith. Today's youth are increasingly independent. They find their information on their own from everywhere. They know more about the world than any of us ever did at their age. They also have a strong sense of fairness and equity. Even in this accelerated world, it is heartening to know that Santa's magic is still a childhood rite of passage. Despite the commercials, tweets, posts, and movies that say otherwise, children everywhere know that Santa is real. NASA tracks Santa's progress on Christmas Eve night; and tablets, phones, and other devices are all involved in trying to catch Santa as he completes his work Christmas Eve. Santa Makes Four bridges the gap between the younger and older years of Santa belief. With some luck and Christmas magic, it can help Christian families all over the world strengthen their faith through the story of Santa Claus.

This book invites all of us to become like the Wise Men of old, and to believe the stories in the Bible are true. It invites all of us to do more for the poor, and become a Santa too.
