Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Linguistik, Note: 2,7, Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz; Standort Görlitz, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Bachelorarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Jugendsprache in der deutschen und polnischen Sprache. Dabei werden essentielle Pfeiler der "Sprache der Jugend" anhand von Beispielen aufgezeigt und erörtert. Dies erfolgt anhand von Massenmedien, speziell jedoch anhand der deutschen Zeitschrift und dem polnischen Äquivalenten Bravo sowie Facebook-Kommentaren und Posts von Jugendlichen. Der erste Teil dieser Arbeit widmet sich der theoretischen Veranschaulichung der Einteilung der (Massen-) Medien. Darüber hinaus beschäftigt sich der erste Teil mit der Charakterisierung und der Analyse des Begriffes Jugendsprache - hierbei wird auch tiefergehend der Begriff der Sprache, der Jugend und der Medien, insbesondere dem Medium Zeitschrift untersucht und skizziert. Der zweite Teil zeigt praktische Beispiele der Jugendsprache aus sekundären Medien - anhand der Bravo Ausgabe Nr. 46/2014 (Deutschland) und Nr. 21/2015 (Polen) und des tertiären Mediums "Facebook" die Beschaffenheit und Eigenart der Jugendsprache, sowohl in der polnischen als auch in der deutschen Sprache, auf. Der Schwerpunkt hierbei liegt auf der deutschen Sprache; die polnische Analyse der Jugendsprache dient zur Veranschaulichung der Jugendsprachen im europäischen Raum. Der dritte und letzte Teil dieser Bachelorarbeit fasst die in Teil eins und zwei erarbeiteten Ergebnisse zusammen und skizziert den Einfluss von Jugendsprache auf die allgemeine Sprache.

In this 1998 book, Meyda Yegenoglu investigates the intersection between post-colonial and feminist criticism, focusing on the Western fascination with the veiled women of the Orient. She examines the veil as a site of fantasy and of nationalist ideologies and discourses of gender identity, analyzing travel literature, anthropological and literary texts to reveal the hegemonic, colonial identity of the desire to penetrate the veiled surface of 'otherness'. Representations of cultural difference and sexual difference are shown to be inextricably linked, and the figure of the Oriental woman to have functioned as the veiled interior of Western identity.
