Jam in the Band is the story of the rise and fall of the all-female junk-rock band Pitch Girl. Robin Enrico is Adjunct Professor of Music and Art at CUNY BMCC. He started making comics at twenty-three. Robin created Jam in the Band in installments over seven years. The term “jam band” is used to categorize a type of music that favors improvisation and musicianship over concise riffs, hooks, and traditional songwriting structure.
