El libro que el lector tiene entre sus manos constituye un análisis procesalista de la nueva Ley 15/2015, de 3 de julio, de Jurisdicción Voluntaria. Si uno de los pilares de la ciencia del Derecho Procesal es la Jurisdicción, el análisis de la llamada Jurisdicción Voluntaria plantea de manera ineludible la necesidad de acotar y diferenciar debidamente el campo de lo jurisdiccional, frente al cual adquiere verdadera naturaleza. En este momento, en que la Ley comienza su andadura, todos los operadores jurídicos hemos de mostrar estar a la altura del reto que supone la irrupción en escena de una nueva iniciativa legislativa que viene a modificar los papeles adjudicados a los distintos actores del entramado. En primer lugar, formándonos adecuadamente, conociendo en profundidad su contenido y asumiendo los progresos del texto legal, a fin de suplir sus carencias, porque no creemos en la omnipotencia ni en la infalibilidad del legislador. Esta aportación tiene una finalidad acorde con lo expuesto: un planteamiento crítico (porque esa misión es irrenunciable para la investigación jurídica), pero también tendente a coadyuvar al efectivo desenvolvimiento de la Ley de Jurisdicción Voluntaria, facilitando su comprensión en estos momentos iniciales de su andadura.
