Early in 2020 when life got quiet, I found my way to the beautiful book, “99 Blessings-An Invitation to Life,” by Brother David Steindl Rast. As I was reading, it occurred to me that introducing the ideas of gratefulness and blessing to children when they are little, might grow into a fun and meaningful practice for life. From there, my lifelong dream of writing a children’s book took shape, and this pint-sized book is the result! Hidden in the pages is my prayer that the hearts of children will open with gratefulness to the blessings and abundance found in ordinary days. She was always afraid she would not be worthy of going to heaven or being in the rapture if Jesus returned to earth. Susan Gore was born in the United Sates, where she has spent her entire life. She was abandoned by her birth mother and adopted by an elderly couple that had already raised eight children and had grandchildren. Per her Adoptive mother's wishes she married, graduated from high school, become a hair dresser, worked as a stylist for a few years, became a mother, and then changed careers to the business world. Still not fulfilled and after experiencing some unusual phenomena, she discovered the healing arts. In 2001 she attained a second degree certification in Reiki, the Usui System of Natural Healing. She began working with energy healing and experienced many healings of her own.
