"It's just human nature, six tales of murder and mayhem. These stories feature the scariest monsters on the planet, humans. What happens when ordinary people ignore the norms of society and cross over to the dark side. We're free agents, able to choose our own actions, but there's always a price to be paid... Things don't always turn out the way they're planned when you make your own rules. See how it's easy to commit the crime, but harder to live with the consequences when, it's just human nature..."--Back cover.

The Laws Of Human Nature written by Robert Greene and has been published by Penguin this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-10-23 with Self-Help categories.

From the #1 New York Times-bestselling author of The 48 Laws of Power comes the definitive new book on decoding the behavior of the people around you Robert Greene is a master guide for millions of readers, distilling ancient wisdom and philosophy into essential texts for seekers of power, understanding and mastery. Now he turns to the most important subject of all - understanding people's drives and motivations, even when they are unconscious of them themselves. We are social animals. Our very lives depend on our relationships with people. Knowing why people do what they do is the most important tool we can possess, without which our other talents can only take us so far. Drawing from the ideas and examples of Pericles, Queen Elizabeth I, Martin Luther King Jr, and many others, Greene teaches us how to detach ourselves from our own emotions and master self-control, how to develop the empathy that leads to insight, how to look behind people's masks, and how to resist conformity to develop your singular sense of purpose. Whether at work, in relationships, or in shaping the world around you, The Laws of Human Nature offers brilliant tactics for success, self-improvement, and self-defense.

The book title, “THE WANDERING HUMAN NATURE”, is my first attempt at writing a book as a fresher in the writer’s club. This book has the potential of changing your life and enabling you to be more inclusive in nature,in order to have or maintain healthy human thoughts for the longest time, which could be beneficial to everyone. This book demonstrates and has answers to all the issues emanating from the whole gamut of human feelings fabricating several processes of human nature. The book is divided into seven parts and each part delves deep into a particular aspect of life and various nuances affecting human nature. The book emphasizes that understanding the core or central elements of human nature would help in the construction, formation and determination towards the path of truth, happiness and sheer gratitude for life. This book gives rise to few serious questions to the readers. Hopefully, through this book, I am able to answer most of the doubts. Over eight months has gone into creation of this fantastic book, which could act as an amazing guide for all of us to follow. This book truly highlights quality and essence of human nature that vacillates. I urge all of you to diligently follow the various guidelines, to lead a happy and stable life. I strongly believe that, we are what we think, so reason out, reflect over and rightly deliberate to live a life, awarded with awareness, so as to have a pleasurable filled-time to years of our existence.

The Ascent Of Man written by James F. Harris and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-09-29 with Philosophy categories.

The Ascent of Man develops a comprehensive theory of human nature. James F. Harris sees human nature as an emergent property that supervenes a cluster of properties. Despite significant overlap between individuals that have human nature and those that are biologically human, the concept of human nature developed in this book is different. Whether biologically human or not, an individual may be said to possess human nature. This theory of human nature is called the"cluster theory." Harris takes as his point of departurePlato's comment that in learning what a thing is we should look to the ways in which it acts upon or is acted upon by other things. He commits to a methodological naturalism and draws upon current views from the social and biological sciences. The cluster theory he develops represents one of the very few completely novel theories of human nature developed in the post-Darwin era. It will prove most useful in dealing with philosophical questions involving such contemporary issues as cloning, cybernetics, and the possibility of extraterrestrial life. The fundamental conceptual issue is how plastic and elastic is the nature of human nature. Just how different might we imagine human beings to be and still be human in the sense that they still possess whatever it is that accounts for a unique nature? The theory of human nature developed in this book is a descriptive, dynamic, bottom-up, non-essentialist, naturalist theory. Harris is well versed in classical philosophy and contemporary behavioral science. He writes in a graceful, open-ended way that both educates and illuminates renewed interest in what it means to be human.

Human Nature In Its Wholeness written by Daniel N. Robinson and has been published by CUA Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2006 with Philosophy categories.

The doctrinal teaching of the Roman Catholic Church extends over two millennia and seeks to inform and direct lives at many levels: personal, familial, civic, and institutional. The reach of this teaching extends to law, moral and ethical issues, politics, education, science, and art. No single volume can serve even as a sketch of this teaching, but in the present volume ten internationally renowned scholars address the various dimensions of the Roman Catholic understanding of the human person, especially St. Thomas Aquinas's affirmation of the rational and social nature of man. The authors present a truly multidisciplinary approach to the topic--the contributors include philosophers, psychologists, political scientists, a theologian, and an architect. Special attention is given to the theology and anthropology of Pope John Paul II whose writings vividly condense the searching examination and robust conception of human nature developed over the centuries. Readers are reminded of just how central the Church's teaching has been to Western Civilization in all of its projections and are thus alerted to the conditions likely to preserve or threaten it. The contributors are Hadley Arkes, Jude P. Dougherty, Kevin Flannery, S.J., Robert P. George, Richard Gill, L.C., F. Russell Hittinger, Daniel N. Robinson, Robert Royal, Peter Ryan, S.J., and Carroll William Westfall. ABOUT THE EDITORS: Daniel N. Robinson is professor of philosophy at Oxford University and visiting professor at the Institute for the Psychological Sciences. He is professor emeritus of Georgetown University. Gladys M. Sweeney is dean of the Institute for the Psychological Sciences. Richard Gill, L.C., is director of the women's section of the Legionaries of Christ. PRAISE FOR THE BOOK: "This volume offers the possibility of a fruitful dialogue on the question of Catholic identity in higher education." -- Lucien Richard, Catholic Library World
