Jam’iyyatul Islamiyah memfokuskan pada upaya menjaga aspek mendasar sebagai kekuatan penggerak utama manusia, yaitu ruh atau apa yang ada di dalam hati setiap manusia. Diyakini bahwa perilaku manusia bersumber dari kekuatan yang ada di dalam hati dimaksud. Oleh karena itu, memperbaikinya ditempuh dengan cara menyentuh aspek yang menjadi kekuatan penggerak itu. Selama ini di dalam menyelesaikan masalah kehidupan pada umumnya, kebanyakan orang terlalu mengedepankan akal atau nalar ide.
