Southwest Aceh Regency (or often abbreviated as: ABDYA) is one of 23 Regencies/ Municipalities in Aceh Province, as result of d i v i s i o n f r o m S o u t h A c e h R e g e n c y. Geographically, it is located between 96º34'57" - 97º09'19" East Longitude and 3º34'24" - 4º05'37" North Latitude. The administrative boundaries of ABDYA Regency are: Gayo Lues Regency in the North; South Aceh Regency in the East; the Indian Ocean in the South; and Nagan Raya Regency in the West.
