Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Krieg und Frieden, Militär, Note: 1,7, Universität Hildesheim (Stiftung) (Institut für Sozialwissenschaften), Veranstaltung: Bildung, Sozialisation, Lebensläufe, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im 20.Jahrhundert fanden fast 200 Kriege nicht nur in bestimmten Regionen oder Kontinenten, sondern auf der gesamten Welt statt. Angefangen mit dem 1. und 2. Weltkrieg bis hin zu den zahlreichen, jahrelang und noch heute andauernden Bürgerkriegen in Afrika etc., so dass man den Krieg als "Alltagsphänomen" im 20. Jahrhundert bezeichnen kann. Erleben Menschen, egal ob Groß oder Klein, nicht nur punktuelle, sondern länger andauernde, belastende Situationen in jeglicher Beziehung, wird das Auswirkungen auf ihren Lebensweg haben. Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit den betroffenen Personen, die Krieg erfahren haben. Beispielhaft wird die Entwicklung der Kriegskinder des 2. Weltkrieges durchleuchtet. Dadurch, dass diese Kinder in einer ganz anderen Umwelt groß wurden und die gesellschaftlichen Aktivitäten sowie Vorkehrungen zu dieser Zeit dramatisch waren, ist anzunehmen, dass dieses indirekt oder direkt Einfluss auf die Persönlichkeitsstrukturen der Kinder gehabt hat.1 Folglich müsste eine vom Krieg geprägte Entwicklung Auswirkungen bis ins hohe Alter haben. Die Hausarbeit geht der Frage nach, inwieweit der Krieg die Sozialisation und damit die Entwicklung der Kriegskinder beeinflusst hat. Ausgehend von dem Begriff der Sozialisation werden die Faktoren, die für die Entwicklung von Kindern wichtig sind, näher erläutert und mit den Sozialisationszielen in Verbindung gebracht. Im Anschluss daran wird aufgezeigt, welchen Belastungen ein Kriegskind im 2. Weltkrieg ausgesetzt war und welchen Folgen das für ihre Kindheit, ihr Erwachsendasein bis hin zum Alter hatte. A study of the generation of Germans dealing with the psychological effects of the parents’ and grandparents’ experiences during and after World War II. How is it possible for people who were born in a time of relative peace and prosperity to suddenly discover war as a determining influence on their lives? For decades to speak openly of German suffering during World War II—to claim victimhood in a country that had victimized millions—was unthinkable. But in the past few years, growing numbers of Germans in their 40s and 50s calling themselves Kriegsenkel, or Grandchildren of the War, have begun to explore the fundamental impact of the war on their present lives and mental health. Their parents and grandparents experienced bombardment, death, forced displacement, and the shame of the Nazi war crimes.
