THE KING VICTORINO is a story that opens to us a defined but infinite window towards the time during the Kingdom promised by the Son of God. Here there is no prolepsis which could destroy, nor fights between acute, oxytone, paroxytone, or proparoxytone stressed words, vowels or consonants, but a neat link from that future predicted to us since long ago. The reader will laugh at the likeable occurrences by the king and those around him with the adventures that happen not only in the 'Kingdom of Tocororo,' where he rules his people, but also in the journey that he undertakes during the last seven years of the Great Millenarian Kingdom; that is to say, from the year 992 to 999 of the GMK, starting with the passage in which on very decorated horse carriages he firstly crosses the Atlantic region: now a dry land converted into an Eden of unimaginable proportions. In the course of the story, peoples and characters around the king Victorino interact in dialogues and situations trapped within the journey, while the king remembers all the biblical passages that in the 'old century' announced the promise of the Millenarian Kingdom. This is therefore a book that quotes the Word of God often, though by this time and because of many, we added them in several footnotes where they can be found; and ensuring that eternal justice is not a hollow promise, but an augmentative locomotive approaching at the speed for which the Creator God has predestined in the dispensation of the time and ages.CONTENT:-Appendix to the book.-Prologue by the scribe Euqor.-Preface by Prince Genghis.-Foreword by King Solomon.-Chapter Aleph: The King Victorino and the Queen Angelike. -Chapter Beth: The Kingdom of Tocororo.-Chapter Gimmel: The Seven Years Journey.*Departing Tainotixtán and Sketch of the Journey.*The Kingdom of the Atlantic Flower and The Queen Snowhite.*The Kingdom of Stratford and The Palace of Romeo and Juliet.*The Kingdom of Salamanca and The Castle of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza.-Chapter Daleth: Returning to Jerusalem through the Pillars of the Alpha and the Omega. -About the Author.

To rule their vast new American territories, the Spanish monarchs appointed viceroys in an attempt to reproduce the monarchical system of government prevailing at the time in Europe. But despite the political significance of the figure of the viceroy, little is known about the mechanisms of viceregal power and its relation to ideas of kingship. Examining this figure, The King's Living Image challenges long-held perspectives on the political nature of Spanish colonialism, recovering, at the same time, the complexity of the political discourses and practices of Spanish rule. It does so by studying the viceregal political culture that developed in New Spain in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries and the mechanisms, both formal and informal, of viceregal rule. In so doing, The King's Living Image questions the very existence of a "colonial state" and contends that imperial power was constituted in ritual ceremonies. It also emphasizes the viceroys' significance in carrying out the civilizing mission of the Spanish monarchy with regard to the indigenous population. The King's Living Image will redefine the ways in which scholars have traditionally looked at the viceregal administration in colonial Mexico.

Princess Elisa is a disappointment to her people. Although she bears the Godstone in her navel, a sign that she has been chosen for an act of heroism, they see her as lazy and useless and fat. On her sixteenth birthday, she is bartered off in royal marriage and shipped away to a kingdom in turmoil, where her much-older-and extremely beautiful-husband refuses to acknowledge her as his wife. Devastated, Elisa decides to take charge of her fate and learn what it means to bear the Godstone. As an invading army threatens to destroy her new home, and everyone at court manoeuvres to take advantage of the young princess, Elisa becomes convinced that, not only is her own life in danger, the whole world needs saving. But how can a young girl who has never ridden horseback, never played the game of politics, and never attained the love of a man save the world? Elisa can't be sure, but she must try to uncover the Godstone's secret history before the enemy steals the destiny nestled in her core.

Axel King is the man to be feared by all. The sole heir to the King's estate worth billions, he is as ruthless as they come. The Kings’ walk into fame began from their profiting off the Great Depression. Caleb King, Axel’s great-grandfather, had owned a string of supermarkets at the time, and profits spiked through the roof. A man with a good head for business, Caleb King had invested in various ventures, many of which yielded great returns. Axel King is about to step into particularly large shoes. With separated parents from the very onset of his childhood life, he is not in tune with his emotions. Despite his mother’s efforts, Axel is every inch a King – shrewd, brilliant, and drop-dead gorgeous. His father has given him a challenge he has to execute in 9 months, or he will lose his right to inherit the family empire. This is an age-long tradition that has spanned across decades and is the only way the King sons could prove themselves as being capable to carry on the family name. For Axel, the only way to do this is to venture into new territory and seek new alliances. But, just before he reaches his goal he will be betrayed. Will he overcome the challenge? Is he really ready to do whatever it takes to achieve his goal? What if it involves an arranged marriage? How will he deal with his childhood love, Rika? Is he ready to overcome any danger and deal with the Irish mafia if he has to?

In Solentiname, a remote archipelago in Lake Nicaragua, the people gathered each Sunday to reflect together on the Gospel reading. From recordings of their dialogue, this extraordinary document of faith in the midst of struggle was composed. First published in four volumes, The Gospel in Solentiname was immediately acclaimed as a classic of liberation theology—a radical reading of the good news of Jesus from the perspective of the poor and the oppressed. (It was also banned by the Somoza dictatorship.) Forty years later The Gospel in Solentiname retains its freshness and power. Though times may have changed, the message of Jesus—as heard by these peasants—continues to challenge the rulers of our age and to inspire the poor with the hope of a different world.
