AKAD Fachhochschule Stuttgart (AKAD University), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Kontaktanzeige hat sich mit der sozialen Entwicklung der Gesellschaft während der Zeit gewandelt. In dieser Arbeit wird detailliert darauf eingegangen, inwiefern die Textsorte ‚Kontaktanzeige’ dem zeitlichen Wandel unterlag, wobei ausschließlich Printanzeigen untersucht werden. Die Begriffe ‚Heiratsannonce’ und ‚Kontaktanzeige’ werden in dieser Arbeit synonym verwendet. Nachfolgend werden insgesamt zehn Kontaktanzeigen, jeweils fünf aus 1954 und 2014, aus DAS MAGAZIN analysiert. DAS MAGAZIN ist eine seit 1924 im Kurznachzehn Verlag erscheinende Zeitschrift im handlichen Pocketformat mit einer monatlich 45.000 Exemplare zählenden Auflage. Es richtet sich mit einem thematischen Mix aus Kultur, Alltag und Gesellschaft vor allem an die jüngere, Orientierung suchende Akademikergeneration. Dabei werden je zwei Inserate von zwei Männern und drei von Frauen zur Analyse herangezogen, die stets einen Partner vom anderen Geschlecht suchen. Das Alter der Inserenten liegt 1954 zwischen 25 und 54 und 2014 zwischen 32 und 56 Jahren. Im weiteren Verlauf sollen die zu untersuchenden Kontaktanzeigen hinsichtlich ihrer inhaltlichen Textstruktur, der sprachlichen Ausdrucksformen und der Textfunktion analysiert werden. Ebenso werden Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede hinsichtlich der Textsorte herausgearbeitet und anhand ausgewählter Beispieltexte belegt.

June J. Hwang’s provocative Lost in Time explores discourses of timelessness in the works of central figures of German modernity such as Walter Benjamin, Georg Simmel, Siegfried Kracauer, and Helmuth Plessner, as well as those of Alfred Döblin, Joseph Roth, and Hugo Bettauer. Hwang argues that in the Weimar Republic the move toward ahistoricization is itself a historical phenomenon, one that can be understood by exploring the intersections of discourses about urban modernity, the stranger, and German Jewish identity. These intersections shed light on conceptions of German Jewish identity that rely on a negation of the specific and temporal as a way to legitimize a historical outsider position, creating a dynamic position that simultaneously challenges and acknowledges the limitations of an outsider’s agency. She reads these texts as attempts to transcend the particular, attempts that paradoxically reveal the entanglement of the particular and the universal.
