Vorliegende Arbeit entsprang dem Wunsch eines Praktikers der Politischen Bildun- zwölf Jahre in der Volksschule und inzwischen neun Jahre in der Lehrerausbildung im Fach Sozialkunde - seine Überzeugungen, seinen Optimismus über die Erfolgsaussichten politischer Bildung anhand von Literaturstudien zu bestätigen. Dieser Optimismus wurde manchmal belächelt, manchmal als idealistisch abgetan, viel öfter aber als überzeugendes Engagement und ehrliche Bereitschaft anerkannt, unsere noch junge Demokratie stabiler und widerstandsfähiger gestalten zu helfen. So ist die Zielgruppe vorliegender Arbeit weniger in der Wissenschaft, sondern eher unter den Praktikern politischer Bildung, Leh rern und Studenten des Lehramtes zu sehen. Aus diesem Grunde bemühte sich der Ver fasser, Sprache und Aufbau der Arbeit dieser Gruppe anzupassen, Wissenschaftler-Jargon und theoretische Höhenflüge zu vermeiden. Trotzdem meine ich, mit der Dissertation einen Beitrag zum Fortschritt der Wissenschaft zu leisten, indem empirische Ergebnisse der politischen Psychologie gesichtet und systematisiert und didaktische Konsequenzen daraus gezogen werden. Für den deutschen Kontext ist bislang weitgehend unerforscht, wie sich antisemitische Einstellungen bei Kindern bilden. Aber bereits bei den Sechs- bis Zwölfjährigen prägen sich spätere jugendliche Erscheinungsformen von antisemitischen Einstellungen. Hierbei kommt der religiösen Bildung im Grundschulkontext eine besondere Bedeutung zu, denn das Thema ›Judentum‹ ist für die höheren Grundschulklassen fest in den Lehrplänen verankert und dies führt für viele Schüler*innen zu einer Erstbegegnung mit jüdischer Geschichte, Theologie, Tradition und Kultur – eventuell auch zu einer ersten dialogischen Begegnung mit Menschen jüdischen Glaubens oder dem Besuch einer Synagoge. Dieser Band ist ein evidenter Schritt zu einer friedenspädagogisch motivierten Reform für den Religionsunterricht in der Grundschule: Stärker als bisher gesehen und umgesetzt, steht der Unterricht vor der gesamtgesellschaftlich bedeutsamen Herausforderung antisemitische Präventionsarbeit zu leisten! Even though it is still largely unexplored in the German context whether and how anti-semitic attitudes develop in children, it must be assumed that the roots for later forms of these prejudices in schoolyards and in classrooms are already growing among the six-to-twelve-year-olds. In this context, religious education is of particular importance in the context of primary schools, because the topic of Jewism is firmly anchored in the curricula for the higher elementary school classes and this may lead for many students to a first encounter with Jewish history, theology, tradition and culture – possibly also to a first dialogical encounter with people of Jewish faith or a visit to a synagogue. In this respect, this volume is a step towards a peace education-motivated reform for religious education in primary school: religious education is facing the challenge of doing anti-Semitic prevention work that is of major importance for society as a whole, and is stronger than previously seen and implemented!

The book provides an entry point for graduate students and other scholars interested in using the constructs of Piaget’s genetic epistemology in mathematics education research. Constructs comprising genetic epistemology form the basis for some of the most well-developed theoretical frameworks available for characterizing learning, particularly in mathematics. The depth and complexity of Piaget’s work can make it challenging to find adequate entry points for learners, not least because it requires a reorientation regarding the nature of mathematical knowledge itself. This volume gathers leading scholars to help address that challenge. The main section of the book presents key Piagetian constructs for mathematics education research such as schemes and operations, figurative and operative thought, images and meanings, and decentering. The chapters that discuss these constructs include examples from research and address how these constructs can be used in research. There are two chapters on various types of reflective abstraction, because this construct is Piaget’s primary tool for characterizing the advancement of knowledge. The later sections of the book contain commentaries reflecting on the contributions of the body of theory developed in the first section. They connect genetic epistemology to current research domains such as equity and the latest in educational psychology. Finally, the book closes with short chapters portraying how scholars are using these tools in specific arenas of mathematics education research, including in special education, early childhood education, and statistics education.

Die vorliegende Untersuchung beinhaltet einen theoretisch und einen empirisch orientierten Teil. Im theoretischen Teil widmet sich die Studie, nach einem einleitenden historischen berblick zur Thematik, der Beziehung zwischen K rper Bewegung und Psyche aus handlungstheoretischer und psychomotorischer Sicht. Dem K rper werden gleicherma en objektive und subjektive Qualit ten zugeschrieben, er wird nicht nur als der Person zugeh rig verstanden, sondern als eine Teilkomponente aller drei Handlungsdeterminanten, Person, Aufgabe und Umwelt. In deren dynamischer Beziehung kommt dem K rper durch die prozesshaften Elemente Erleben, Wahrnehmen, Verhalten und Handeln eine fundamentale handlungsregulatorische Funktion zu. Im empirischen Teil der Untersuchung wurde an 241 6- und 7-j hrigen Sch lern an vier Grundschulen in Vestfold (Norwegen) durchgef hrt. Sie umfasste 17 motorische Aufgaben, welche die drei Dimensionen Grobmotorik, Feinmotorik und statisches Gleichgewicht abdecken, 3 kognitive Tests (generelle kognitive F higkeiten, Ged chtnis und Konzentration), eine aus vier Subtests bestehende Erfassung der sprachlichen Bewusstheit sowie eine Selbstbildregistrierung, die sich auf die vier Dimensionen kognitiv, sozial, k rperlich und sthetisch bezog. Mit den angewandten empirischen Verfahren konnten die theoretischen Annahmen zum Teil abgebildet werden. Dabei kam die Beziehung zwischen dem motorischen und dem sprachlichen Funktionsbereich am deutlichsten zum Ausdruck. Im kognitiven Bereich variieren die Resultate, die zwischen der Motorik und dem Ged chtnis ist am st rksten, ist f r die generellen kognitiven Fertigkeiten (Progressiver Matrizentest) etwas geringer und f r die Konzentration nicht mehr festzustellen. W hrend f r den sprachlichen Bereich die Grob- und Feinmotorik einen etwa gleich starken Zusammenhang aufweisen, ist die Beziehung mit der Grobmotorik f r den kognitiven Bereich etwas st rker als f r die Feinmotorik.
