Auf dieser Grundlage erfolgt ein Soll-Ist-Vergleich, so dass die Kundenzufriedenheit anhand dessen Ergebnisse berarbeitet werden kann. Es sollen Handlungsmanahmen zur Verbesserung der Kundenzufriedenheit erarbeitet werden, wie die eruierten Kundenerwartungen in das bestehende Konzept einflieen knnen. Ein weiteres Ziel ist die langfristige Verbesserung der Customer- Relationship-Management-Prozesse und damit die Erzielung dauerhafter Wettbewerbsvorteile und die Steigerung des Unternehmenserfolgs durch genauere Kenntnis der Kundenwnsche und Kundenerwartungen.
