Hän uskottelee isälleen Edgarin suunnittelevan tämän murhaa. Gloucester menee raivosta suunniltaan ja Edgar joutuu pakenemaan hulluksi kerjäläiseksi naamioituneena.Reganin ja Gonerilin huhutaan olevan riidoissa, ja Ranskan kuningas tekee maihinnousun hajanaiseen maahan. King Lear is a tragedy by William Shakespeare.
