Il volume raccoglie dieci saggi sul tema dell’amicizia, divisi in tre sezioni tematiche. La prima sezione esplora il lessico tedesco dell’amicizia dalle prime attestazioni in alto tedesco antico fino al tedesco moderno (Santoro, Cigni, Delli Castelli), uscendo dai confini cronologici indicati nel titolo della miscellanea. Anche il secondo gruppo di saggi va ben oltre i suddetti limiti temporali e spaziali e include studi sull’amicizia di carattere storico, letterario e giuridico-economico (Angelucci, Battaglia, Garuti Simone Di Cesare, Di Plinio). Tali «sconfinamenti» si inseriscono nel solco dell’insegnamento di Elisabetta Fazzini, di non costringere mai i propri orizzonti e i propri interessi sotto un’unica etichetta, ma di guardare oltre, di confrontarsi e imparare anche dalle altre discipline. L’ultima sezione (Cipolla, Di Clemente, Digilio) è dedicata ad amicizie davvero senza confini: amicizie che si spingono oltre i vincoli temporali imposti dalla vita terrena e che includono persino la speciale empatia tra uomo e animale.

Der Vampirmythos findet in der Populärkultur als Blutsauger und Übermensch Resonanz. Es geht um die rätselhafte Frage des Übergangs der Toten ins Jenseits, das Spannungsfeld von Eros und Thanatos. Seit mehr als 200 Jahren nach der Veröffentlichung von John Polidoris "The Vampyre. A Tale" (1819) ist der Vampir Bestandteil der europäischen Literaturen. Als liminale Figur konnotiert er Invasion und ist damit eng mit der Abwehr des (fremden) Anderen assoziiert; als ambivalente Figur signifiziert der Vampir faszinosum und tremendum, steht für Kulturkontakt und Abgrenzung gleichermaßen. Der Vampir fungiert seit der Aufklärung selbst als Reflexionsfigur unterschiedlicher Wissenskulturen und ist derart für die Fragestellung des kulturellen Transfers doppelt relevant. Insbesondere vor dem Hintergrund aktueller Entwicklungen in Europa mit gegenwärtig einhergehender Angst vor Überfremdung entwickelt die Figur neues Deutungspotential. Die Grenze zwischen Tier und Mensch, belebt/unbelebt, dem Heiligen und dem Profanen, zwischen Genres und Medien, zwischen Kulturen, gesellschaftlichen Schichten, Geschlechtern, geographischen Räumen – all diese Aspekte thematisiert dieser Band am Beispiel der Grenzgängerfigur Vampir. Qual è la relazione tra letteratura e rappresentazione degli spazi? In che modo la letteratura partecipa al cambiamento in atto nella percezione dei luoghi? Queste le domande da cui si è mossa la ricerca alla base di questo volume. Sappiamo che nel nostro tempo lo spazio è diventato centrale nella riflessione teorica: Spatial Turn, Raumtheorien, geocritica vengono qui utilizzate per orientarsi nel cambiamento in atto e a Berlino, attraverso la letteratura transnazionale di lingua tedesca, si cerca la matrice del rapporto tra scrittura e «spazio». Berlino, città senza centro, città rizo-matica, cifra del temporaneo ci offre una possibilità di cogliere l’intrinseco legame tra Grafie e luoghi, attraverso cui leggere anche il nesso tra creatività e potere. Le opere di due scrittrici, Emine Sevgi Özdamar e Terézia Mora, ci accompagnano in questa indagine. Questa letteratura viene qui definita nomade in relazione alle tesi di Braidotti, Deleuze e Guattari ma anche guardando a uno spazio urbano decostruito. Le opere di queste autrici mostrano la capacità della scrittura di creare una connessione tra interno ed esterno, o dimostrano l’impossibilità della relazione laddove ci siano sistemi, traumi che trasformano lo spazio vitale in un luogo di morte. La letteratura transnazionale manifesta la cifra nomade della relazione con lo spazio, nell’andare stesso vi è l’essenza dello stare, ma solo attraverso una scelta del soggetto si realizza la connessione con lo spazio. La messa in connessione, la possibilità dell’apertura alla relazione è affidata, infatti, alla capacità di scelta dei soggetti delle storie narrate. Le BerlinoGrafie mappano, quindi, nuove spazialità e forme di convivenza, mostrando il potenziale che la scrittura ha nel modificare lo spazio vissuto e le traiettorie possibili che l’uomo contemporaneo sta tracciando.

La semantica può essere considerata come una delle sfide più avvincenti e proibitive della lingua. Quali sono le componenti essenziali del significato? Quale confine è possibile tracciare tra il contenuto linguistico e quello extra-linguistico? Quale tipo di modello rappresenta meglio la semantica linguistica? E come fare interagire tra loro modelli diversi? Il testo, di taglio specialistico, analizza, valuta e coordina i diversi approcci, presentandoli separatamente a seconda delle scuole e delle discipline di appartenenza. La tripartizione delle teorie in linguistiche, formali e computazionali seguirà le diverse discipline coinvolte, a partire da una prospettiva storica sul secolo scorso, fino ai più recenti approcci multi-disciplinari. L’analisi mostrerà come dalle divisioni disciplinari classiche del Ventesimo secolo, si sia passati a una bipartizione metodologica che scinde le prospettive modellistiche da quelle descrittive. Una particolare attenzione viene dedicata alle specifiche forme disciplinari e agli aspetti modellistici; tale focus produce una vasta gamma di considerazioni metodologiche sulla semantica lessicale, cognitiva, formale e computazionale. Emerge dunque come i metodi massimalistici presentino evidenti problemi di parzialità e come i sistemi vero-funzionali, quelli basati sugli aspetti cognitivi e la trattazione automatica del testo, siano in grado di cogliere particolari aspetti del significato, senza però espandere, di concerto, la portata esplicativa dell’intera fenomenologia semantica. L’ultimo capitolo è dedicato a un confronto tra metodi, problemi e prospettive, aprendo diverse questioni teoriche di larga portata e prospettando la necessità di protocolli d’interazione tra i vari approcci.

The experience of human rights is manifested through lights and shadows, since rights take their form in a complex game of reflections in which the demands for emancipation are linked to the logic of domination. From a phenomenological point of view, rights seem to be crossed by a dichotomy through which universality does not modify (perhaps consolidates) the fact of its ineffectiveness, generality does not resolve (perhaps hides) discriminatory dynamics, multiplication rather than peace social produces contrast. Legal regimes of rights are also interested in the transformation of the production process itself; This derives from a complication of the relationship between politics and justice: at the same time that politics is judicialized, justice is politicized. The profound changes present in the contemporary world, which shape a new geopolitical space and an unprecedented pluralism of values in a context of cultural diversity, act as factors that modify the meaning of the human rights discourse. The analyzes contained in this volume are developed on different legal and philosophical areas. Starting from the direct examination of some key issues, they highlight these complex problems and point out the urgent need for reflection on possible ways to correspond to the demands for freedom and justice expressed in the demand for rights.
