Sotto mentite spoglie lo accompagna a vedere i cambiamenti che la sua opera sta apportando a Roma e all’Italia. Morandi è come soggiogato da lui e, nonostante non sia convinto della bontà di quanto vede, non riesce a esprimere liberamente la sua opinione. L’incontro, però, non è privo di conseguenze: nei due giorni in cui stanno insieme entrambi subiscono, loro malgrado, un cambiamento che porterà all'inevitabile epilogo. Giovanni Barletta ha sessantatré anni e gestisce una piccola azienda che opera nel campo della consulenza direzionale in Sanità. Ha cominciato a scrivere solo nel 2009. Questa è la prima opera che pubblica. Non ama partecipare ai concorsi letterari, salvo qualche rara eccezione, per cui non può vantare premi o riconoscimenti. L’unica eccezione è il concorso GialloLunaNeroNotte 2015, nel quale un suo racconto è stato selezionato fra i finalisti.

Marion Cave Rosselli is remembered as the 'perfect companion' of the Italian Antifascist leader Carlo Rosselli, assassinated in Paris in June 1937. But little is known about the young English student fired with revolutionary enthusiasm who moved to Florence in 1919, witnessed the violent march of fascism to power and thereafter became a resolute adversary of the Mussolini dictatorship.
