Introduction : Les violences conjugales sont un réel sujet de santé. Malgré la formation des médecins au dépistage systématique et la libération de la parole, le nombre de victimes ne diminue pas. Notre étude avait pour objectif d'avoir une première approche des représentations des violences conjugales chez les femmes, qu'elles soient victimes ou non, afin de déterminer certains freins à la déclaration ou à la prise en charge des violences. Méthode : Étude qualitative par onze entretiens semi-directifs réalisés entre octobre 2022 et janvier 2023 auprès de 11 femmes. L'analyse a été effectuée en contenu thématique et le guide d'entretien a évolué selon les principes de la théorisation ancrée. Résultats : Il existe de nombreux freins à la déclaration et à la prise en charge des violences. Les victimes mobilisent le plus souvent ce que l'on appelle les ressources informelles. Plusieurs facteurs de risque de violence ont été évoqués comme la consommation de toxiques, l'éducation, le fait d'avoir été victime de violence et le confinement lors de la pandémie de COVID-19. Les victimes de violences conjugales peuvent aussi être des hommes. Conclusion : Les situations de violences conjugales sont assez facilement repérées par les femmes, mais des freins variés empêchent leur déclaration et leur prise en charge. La poursuite du dépistage systématique et une meilleure information sur les mécanismes de la violence sont nécessaires. Les ressources informelles ne doivent pas être négligées dans l'accompagnement des victimes.
