Rédigé entre le IIe siècle et le Ve siècle de l'ère commune pour sauvegarder l'ensemble des règles de vie d'un peuple en exil et privé de son Temple, le Talmud, composé de 63 traités, se présente comme une discussion entre rabbins autour de la loi biblique et de son impact sur la vie quotidienne de la société juive. Débat infini semblant procéder de digression en digression, il tient une place essentielle dans l'éducation et la pensée juives. Son étude a suscité de très nombreux commentaires, mais la Logique du Talmud de R Moshé Hayyim Luzzatto (Radial), publiée à Amsterdam en 1742, a ceci d'unique qu'elle met au jour les principes directeurs de son mode de penser. L'ouvrage fut pourtant longtemps méconnu et il faudra attendre les travaux du professeur Charles Manekin en 1998, montrant que le système de Ramhal était fondé sur la logique de Pierre de la Ramée (151.5-1.572) pour que le livre sorte de l'ombre. C'est en approfondissant le système ramiste que Yohanan Lederman a pu ainsi en livrer une traduction française accompagnée de travaux pratiques qui font de cette publication un outil de travail essentiel pour tous ceux qui veulent suivre la voie de l'intelligence.

Analecta Bruxellensia has been since 1996 the annual review of the Protestant Faculties of Theology and Religious Studies (FUTP (French) and FPTR (Dutch)) in Brussels. Analecta 21 is a varied number. Three themes are developed covering exegetical, historical, sociological, theological and philosophical fields. The first explores hermeneutics related to the understanding and assimilation of the biblical text; the second addresses the weight of ideology in the construction of narratives invoked in the representation of the Other; the third pursues this theme of encounter and otherness in various historical perspectives. From a queer exegesis of the narrative of Acts 8 to the question of the extent of Christ's salvation in the hypothesis of inhabited worlds in science fiction literature, the eclecticism of these academic contributions, as well as their relevance to contemporary debates, promise the reader multiple changes of scenery and genuinely new thinking.
