XVI las cosas cambiaron poco, ya que la discriminación sistemática de la mujer continuó a través de los años de la Reforma Protestante, impulsada incluso por los mismísimos reformadores. Este terrible mal pervive aún en la actualidad.Una cosa es cierta: la exclusión de la mujer supone un desafío para la iglesia cristiana y restringe el desarrollo de millones de mujeres fieles que anhelan entrar al ministerio en sus iglesias pero se encuentran con limitaciones de tipo burocrático y legalista. Puesto que tales restricciones afirman estar basadas en la tradición, la historia y la Biblia, un análisis de histórico, bíblico y cultural sobre el tema se vuelve imprescindible para la iglesia moderna. En "La Maldición de las hijas de Eva" este tema es abordado con franqueza a la luz de la Biblia, recordándonos que dicha exclusión de la mujer no fue el plan original de Dios, sino producto de la caída.
