La mediación intercultural es una de las ramas más jóvenes en el árbol de la mediación. Y necesita por ello ser observada, descrita y ana-lizada como se hace en este libro. Hoy por hoy no existe en castellano ningún material de consulta sobre atención sanitaria con pacientes de diversas culturas, las cuales ya son una realidad en nuestra sociedad y en las consultas médicas de nuestro país.
