Lino Roberto Morales nació en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires el 2 de agosto de 1936. POETAS, vol. 3, Editorial Nuevo Ser, 2006, y obtuvo por su cuento "Bahía de Samborombón una mención de honor del Cuarto Certamen Nacional de Cuento y Poesía “Juninpaís” 2005, y fue publicado en Ediciones de las Tres Lagunas. En los cuentos que conforman la presente obra, este abogado porteño nos invita a asomarnos a una época signada por las contradicciones, donde sus protagonistas conservan inquebrantables ideales, más allá de sus conveniencias personales. En los cuentos está presente el doctor Salvador Mazza, luchador inclaudicable contra la enfermedad de Chagas, mal endémico que aún hoy afecta fatídicamente a millones de latinoamericanos, con secuelas irreversibles y miles de muertes por año. A través de sus narraciones aparecerán personajes como Quisque, un provinciano transplantado a la Ciudad de Buenos Aires junto con la MEPRA. Hombre de gran entereza moral, oiremos a través de los relatos sus justificados lamentos por el paulatino desvanecimiento de la Misión de Estudios de Patologías Regionales creada por el doctor Salvador Mazza.
