Salvatore La Moglie è nato a Lauropoli (Cosenza) nel 1958. Si è laureato in “Lettere Moderne” presso l’Università Statale di Milano con una tesi sui “fatti del 1956” visti attraverso l’Avanti! Insegna Italiano e Storia negli Istituti Superiori. Nel 1998 ha pubblicato, per la Casa Editrice Pellegrini di Cosenza, il suo primo romanzo, La stanza di Pascal; nel 2000, presso la “Calabria letteraria editrice” della Rubbettino, il secondo romanzo Il cocchio alato del tempo. Nel 2007 un racconto I campanelli d’oro e una poesia Tra la terra e il cielo sono stati inseriti rispettivamente nell’antologia Ulivi, edizioni Il Coscile, e nell’antologia Tra cielo e terra - La montagna, Ferrari editore. La stessa poesia citata è stata selezionata e premiata al “1° Premio Internazionale Salvatore Quasimodo” e poi inserita nell’antologia omonima del Premio a cura della Aletti Editore, 2016. Altri testi poetici e raccolte di poesie sono state pubblicate a cura della Aletti Editore nelle antologie Habere Artem (2016) Il Federiciano 2016 e Austro 2017- Poeti del nuovo millennio a confronto. Ha collaborato, fin dalla loro fondazione, con i periodici di letteratura La colpa di scrivere e Il Fiacre N. 9. Attualmente continua a scrivere testi narrativi e poetici. Riconoscimenti: - “Menzione di merito” alla XVIII edizione del Concorso di poesia “Habere Artem” (Villanova di Guidonia, maggio 2016). - Finalista quarto classificato sia per la poesia che per il racconto editi alla prima edizione del “1° Premio Internazionale Salvatore Quasimodo” (Guidonia Montecelio, giugno 2016). - Finalista secondo classificato per il racconto inedito al Premio Internazionale J. Kerouac (Morano Calabro, settembre 2016). - Attestato di Poeta Federiciano – VIII concorso Internazionale di poesia inedita Il Federiciano 2016. È stato finalista primo classificato per la sez. saggio inedito (Profili letterari del Novecento) al 2° Premio Internazionale S. Quasimodo (1° aprile 2017) È in corso di pubblicazione una raccolta poetica nella collana ‘‘Il Paese della Poesia - Tre poeti a confronto’’.

Drawing on the recent renewal of interest in the debate on orality and literacy this book investigates the varying perceptions and representations of orality in contemporary Italian fiction, providing a fresh perspective on this rich and fast-developing debate and on the study of the Italian literary language. The book brings together a number of complementary approaches to orality from the fields of linguistics, literary and media studies and offers a detailed analysis of a broad variety of authors and texts that appeared over the last three decades - ranging from internationally acclaimed writers such as Celati, Duranti and Tabucchi, through De Luca and Baricco, to the latest generation of writers, such as Campo, Ballestra and Nove. The definition of organised crime has long been the object of lively debate, at national and international level. Sociological and legal analysis has not yet led to one definitive answer to the question of what exactly 'organised crime' means. Nonetheless, many instruments adopted both at international and national levels set forth special legal regimes designed to target criminal groups featuring a stable organisation, which are perceived as particularly dangerous to society. Therefore, identifying the notion of organised crime is crucial to establishing the scope of any legal instrument specifically designed for combating it. The aim of this book is to reassess the scope, the effectiveness and the overall coherence of existing definitions of organised crime, and to identify any need for a reconsideration of these definitions, specifically with reference to the EU legal order.
