Cualquier cosa que diga de esta antología de relatos deberá leerse como un relato más; no necesariamente como la verdad. Esto lo digo más desde mi experiencia como lector, que como escritor. Han pasado unos cuantos años, desde que escribí los micro relatos de Fragmentos de la Tierra Prometida (2012), en el que asumí el desafío minimalista que exige el género. Otros tantos desde Sonambulario (2005), como temeraria tentativa de traducir la experiencia del que camina en sueños. Y muchos más, desde Urbanoscopio (1998), como escritura de catalejo/caleidoscopio. Las tres colecciones reunidas en este volumen, surgen en momentos y contextos muy diferentes. Relatos es el mapa encriptado de un camino que va desde la música callejera, pasa por las Variaciones Goldberg, y llega al músico solitario que silba porque ha perdido hasta su instrumento. Algunos relatos parecen comenzar en Urbanoscopio, para desarrollarse en Sonambulario y, finalmente, tocar Tierra en los fragmentos.
