En el apartado La Visita aparece la descripción monumental o paisajística de cada localidad, incluyendo en ocasiones los alrededores de éstas y sus espacios naturales de interés. En el caso de las capitales, acompañando a la visita y para facilitarla, se incluyen dos planos (de día y de noche) que en colores diferenciados muestran los distintos ambientes que se hallarán en esa ciudad. En el de Dormir y comer se da información detallada de los distintos hoteles y restaurantes que hemos seleccionado siguiendo un riguroso criterio de calidad/precio. Serán fáciles de encontrar gracias a los planos de las localidades en los que se indica su posición. En la parte final, El contexto, comprende algunos apuntes sobre la historia, la cultura y el arte mayas, la religión, la política... y otros aspectos interesantes. Además, en las primeras páginas de esta guía aparece un mapa de Centroamérica, que resulta útil para situar el territorio maya que comprende la guía. "
