No, signori miei, questa raccolta (se volete giudicatela “insignificante” o “egocentrica” o come vi pare) di poesie è un elogio, e non prendetemi per matto, all’evasione. E, senza fraintesi da parte vostra, non all’evasione fiscale, ma all’evasione dell’anima. L’ Animo umano ha bisogno di “evadere”. Come se l’anima dell’uomo fosse un detenuto di un carcere di massima sicurezza e, con passo felpato e felino, evade, scappa dal carcere. E così l’anima “evade” dal corpo per dimorare in posti di cui solo l’Anima conosce l’esistenza. E “evadere” dalla società malata. “Evasione” intesa come “liberazione” e “isolamento”. Essere liberi dai canoni (regole) che ti impone la società, addirittura rifiutare la società e “isolarsi” nel mondo che è solo tuo e di nessun altro. E rifugiarsi nella “solitudine”. E quella solitudine è solo tua. (Il poeta a cui mi sono sempre ispirato è la figura geniale di Nazim Hikmet, grande poeta e scrittore turco le cui poesie sono un inno all’Amore, per chi volesse saperlo). Questa raccolta è inoltre un elogio alla “voglia di cambiare”, di essere migliore. Di cambiare il mondo, di plasmarlo secondo le tue regole di convivenza. L’utopia di una società, uno stato, un mondo perfetto. Ma il mondo di certo non si cambia con la poesia. Di sicuro la poesia è continuo “cambiamento”. Le poesie non hanno mai cambiato il mondo, ma il mondo ha cambiato la poesia.

This is the first edited volume dedicated specifically to first person non-singular reference (‘we’). Its aim is to explore the interplay between the grammatical means that a language offers for accomplishing collective self-reference and the socio-pragmatic – broadly speaking – functions of ‘we’. Besides an introduction, which offers an overview of the problems and issues associated with first person non-singular reference, the volume comprises fifteen chapters that cover languages as diverse as, e.g., Dutch, Greek, Hebrew, Cha’palaa and Norf’k, and various interactional and genre-specific contexts of spoken and written discourse.
