"Now look here, young lady-" he began. "I'm not a lady," Copper interrupted before he could continue. "Ladies are human. I'm a Lani." Despite their uncertain meeting, Kennon learned to respect the Lani, and considered helping in their cause. Copper, the Lani beauty, vowed to do anything to prove to the universe that her people are just as human as the humans.
