Acceptance test-driven development (ATDD) helps with communication between the business customers, the developers, and the testers. This paper introduces the process of acceptance testing and covers the five Ws: What are acceptance tests? When should they be created? Why should you use them? Who creates them? Where are they used? It discusses how acceptance test-driven development makes the implementation process much more effective. The paper identifies testing strategies and provides an acceptance test example.
