Lectures On The Automorphism Groups Of Kobayashi Hyperbolic Manifolds written by Alexander Isaev and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2007-03-11 with Mathematics categories.
In this monograph the author presents a coherent exposition of recent results on complete characterization of Kobayashi-hyperbolic manifolds with high-dimensional groups of holomorphic automorphisms. These classification results can be viewed as complex-geometric analogues of those known for Riemannian manifolds with high-dimensional isotropy groups that were extensively studied in the 1950s-70s.

Handbook Of Complex Analysis written by Steven G. Krantz and has been published by CRC Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2022-03-07 with Mathematics categories.
In spite of being nearly 500 years old, the subject of complex analysis is still today a vital and active part of mathematics. There are important applications in physics, engineering, and other aspects of technology. This Handbook presents contributed chapters by prominent mathematicians, including the new generation of researchers. More than a compilation of recent results, this book offers students an essential stepping-stone to gain an entry into the research life of complex analysis. Classes and seminars play a role in this process. More, though, is needed for further study. This Handbook will play that role. This book is also a reference and a source of inspiration for more seasoned mathematicians—both specialists in complex analysis and others who want to acquaint themselves with current modes of thought. The chapters in this volume are authored by leading experts and gifted expositors. They are carefully crafted presentations of diverse aspects of the field, formulated for a broad and diverse audience. This volume is a touchstone for current ideas in the broadly construed subject area of complex analysis. It should enrich the literature and point in some new directions.

Modules Over Operads And Functors written by Benoit Fresse and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009-04-20 with Mathematics categories.
This monograph presents a review of the basis of operad theory. It also studies structures of modules over operads as a new device to model functors between categories of algebras as effectively as operads model categories of algebras.

Parameter Estimation In Stochastic Differential Equations written by Jaya P. N. Bishwal and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2007-09-26 with Mathematics categories.
Parameter estimation in stochastic differential equations and stochastic partial differential equations is the science, art and technology of modeling complex phenomena. The subject has attracted researchers from several areas of mathematics. This volume presents the estimation of the unknown parameters in the corresponding continuous models based on continuous and discrete observations and examines extensively maximum likelihood, minimum contrast and Bayesian methods.

Existence And Regularity Properties Of The Integrated Density Of States Of Random Schr Dinger Operators written by Ivan Veselic and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2008-01-02 with Mathematics categories.
This book describes in detail a quantity encoding spectral feature of random operators: the integrated density of states or spectral distribution function. It presents various approaches to the construction of the integrated density of states and the proof of its regularity properties. The book also includes references to and a discussion of other properties of the IDS as well as a variety of models beyond those treated in detail here.

Zeta Functions Of Groups And Rings written by Marcus du Sautoy and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2008 with Mathematics categories.
Zeta functions have been a powerful tool in mathematics over the last two centuries. This book considers a new class of non-commutative zeta functions which encode the structure of the subgroup lattice in infinite groups. The book explores the analytic behaviour of these functions together with an investigation of functional equations. Many important examples of zeta functions are calculated and recorded providing an important data base of explicit examples and methods for calculation.

Lower Central And Dimension Series Of Groups written by Roman Mikhailov and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2008-10-20 with Mathematics categories.
A fundamental object of study in group theory is the lower central series of groups. Understanding its relationship with the dimension series, which consists of the subgroups determined by the augmentation powers, is a challenging task. This monograph presents an exposition of different methods for investigating this relationship. In addition to group theorists, the results are also of interest to topologists and number theorists. The approach is mainly combinatorial and homological. A novel feature is an exposition of simplicial methods for the study of problems in group theory.

This book grew out of a series of lectures given at the Mathematics Department of Kyushu University in the Fall 2006, within the support of the 21st Century COE Program (2003–2007) “Development of Dynamical Mathematics with High Fu- tionality” (Program Leader: prof. Mitsuhiro Nakao). It was initially published as the Kyushu University COE Lecture Note n- ber 8 (COE Lecture Note, 8. Kyushu University, The 21st Century COE Program “DMHF”, Fukuoka, 2008. vi+234 pp.), and in the present form is an extended v- sion of it (in particular, I have added a section dedicated to the Maslov index). The book is intended as a rapid (though not so straightforward) pseudodiff- ential introduction to the spectral theory of certain systems, mainly of the form a +a where the entries of a are homogeneous polynomials of degree 2 in the 2 0 2 n n (x,?)-variables, (x,?)? R×R,and a is a constant matrix, the so-called non- 0 commutative harmonic oscillators, with particular emphasis on a class of systems introduced by M. Wakayama and myself about ten years ago. The class of n- commutative harmonic oscillators is very rich, and many problems are still open, and worth of being pursued.
