Can you imagine waking up one day, announcing you are taking a trip to a distant landmark and driving off, with no directions, no plans? What are the chances that taking any road that appeals to you would actually get you where you wanted to go? So many of us treat our lives that way. We don't think about where we want to be in the future. We wake up each day and do whatever appeals to us or whatever we think needs to get done in the moment. But if failing to plan is equivalent to planning to fail, we shouldn't be skipping such an essential key in unlocking our purpose. Each one of us is here for a reason. We have been given a precious gift of life and by making intentional, positive choices we can plan our best path. It was a gift of a stone etched with the letters P-U-R-P-O-S-E that inspired the Legacy of the PURPOSE Stone. Gilda Runco tells a remarkable story of how a real-life tragedy led others towards a path for discovering their special purpose. "I had the lucky opportunity to witness how Gilda kept an auditorium of adolescences and adults hanging on every word she spoke. This book does a phenomenal job of illustrating the importance of family, friends, and following your purpose in life. I think every child and adult should read this book to help them answer the age old-question "Why am I here and what is my purpose in life?"' - Chad R. Vinansky, Mid Valley Secondary Center Principal "Gilda tells an emotional and personal story from her heart. She invites you into her soul with spectacular storytelling and a real purpose. This is a must-read for any parent as inspirational advice based on pains and experiences." - Larry Holeva, Executive Editor, The Times-Tribune, Scranton "All I can say is WOW! What a great self-help book." - Cathy Mazur, librarian and author of Stanley Seagull "Legacy of the PURPOSE Stone ignites a spark in oneself and should be required reading for every high school student because it gives a course to follow for a life filled with purpose." - Julia Betti, Mid Valley High School student "If you want to know how to turn emotional pain into personal progress, how to go from living in mediocrity into living above average, and from having no direction in your life to having a clear vision and specific goals, then you will benefit from this book. Great truths coupled with Biblical principles! I highly recommend that you take advantage of Gilda's experience and wisdom." - Pastor Gary W. Haskell, Sr, Jackson Baptist Church, Jackson, PA

"A spectacular coffee-table book featuring the images and stories of some of Saskatchewan's most impressive stone buildings, along with historical notes on some of the builders who made them." In words and stunning colour pictures, this book tells the history and the current reality of over 50 fieldstone buildings in Saskatchewan. The book includes an introduction by Bernie Flaman, the provincial heritage architect, an historical overview, and profiles of several of Saskatchewan's most prominent stone masons. The balance of the book is made up of profiles of the buildings - farmhouses, homes in urban communities, places of worship, public buildings and ruins. Margaret Hryniuk, uses her years of journalism experience to present factual yet fascinating profiles of the buildings, and what is known of the people who put them there. Larry Easton's spectacular photgraphs bring these beautiful stone buildings to life, and Frank Kovermaker examines the dimensions and differences of the fieldstone that inhabits the Saskatchewan landscape.

Rico Paganini, one of the leading megalithic, geomantic and spiritual researchers has visited all the Earths major power points. In this book we travel along with him.And we are able to share in his stirring experiences, in sensitive discoveries and the wondrous insights that he was able to gain. He has not compiled them for himself, but for us all.Perhaps he could only manage his adventures travels, bear the travails and overcome some resistance because the spiritual world was on his side accompanied him, encouraged him and led him with direct guidance. These received messages are also an essential and moving part of this book, and are a special feature is astonishing. As is the telling of the tale of the spiritual and material creation, and the fact that Mother Earth is alive and is conscious; our ancestors had not yet forgotten this.He also leads us through the destruction of the environment, climate changes and the increasing natural catastrophes. What have we done?At the same time, he presents us with solution paths, gives us courage and hope in this dramatic turning point; it is not yet too late!Hence, GAIA LEGACY is much more than a travel report and insight into the power points. It is one can say without exaggeration an incomparable book full of awakening and strength, just as the fifteenth power source

Lucy Stone was a prominent U.S. orator, abolitionist, suffragist, and a vocal advocate and organizer promoting rights for women. In 1847, Stone became the first woman from Massachusetts to earn a college degree. She spoke out for women's rights and against slavery at a time when women were discouraged and prevented from public speaking. Stone was known for using her birth name after marriage, the custom at the time being for women to take their husband's surname. Stone assisted in establishing the Woman's National Loyal League to help pass the Thirteenth Amendment and thereby abolish slavery, after which she helped form the American Woman Suffrage Association (AWSA), which built support for a woman suffrage Constitutional amendment by winning woman suffrage at the state and local levels.

This book surveys the cultural history and rock art traditions of Archaic hunters and gatherers, Anasazi, Fremont, Navajo, Eastern Shoshoni, and Ute peoples. regions of special interest include Mesa Verde and the Four Corners area, the Uncompahgre Plateau, Dinosaur National Monument and the canyons of the Green and Yampa rivers, and the Canyonlands of Utah and Colorado. For more than a million years, man's utter dependence on technology has been producing a host of intricate problems. For example, we steadily reduce the need for human labor while finding ways to increase life expectancy. We mass produce the automobile without grasping the harsh effects it leaves on the environment. The Human Legacy concerns the evolution and development of man–physically, socially, psychologically–into the latest version of the species we see around us today. The author paints an intriguing picture of man, living in complex societies and trying to solve the unanticipated consequences of action.
