Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2017 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Geschichte, Note: 1,5, Universität Paderborn (Institut für Germanistik und vergleichende Literaturwissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Sprachsensibler Unterricht, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: „... heute prägt bezüglich dieser zentralen Methode [der Arbeit mit Quellen] des Geschichtsunterrichts weitgehende Unzufriedenheit bei Lehrern und Schülern das Bild.“ (Langer-Plän, 2013) Dieses Zitat ist nicht nur in der Literatur zum Arbeiten im Geschichtsunterricht gegenwärtig, sondern bestimmt auch in der Praxis das allgemeine Bild. Im Zuge meines eigenen Geschichtsunterrichts, aber auch während meiner Tätigkeit im Praxissemester musste ich immer wieder feststellen, dass insbesondere die Arbeit mit geschichtlichen Quellen für viele Schülerinnen und Schüler große Schwierigkeiten beim Erfassen des Gehalts darstellte. Auch für Lehrer scheint die schulische Arbeit mit Quellen im Zuge der Korrelation mit dem größeren Zeitaufwand und dem oft wenig ertragreichen Ergebnis unbefriedigend zu sein. Doch gerade dieses Zitat macht die Wesentlichkeit der Quellenarbeit deutlich, indem auf die Quellenarbeit als „zentrale Methode des Geschichtsunterrichts“ hingewiesen wird. Dies bedeutet in der Schlussfolgerung: Das was geschichtliches Arbeit ausmacht sind zeitgenössische Quellen. Gleichzeitig ist diese Art des Textes aber gerade jene, welche viele Hindernisse in der historischen Transparenz darstellt. So stellte sich mir die Frage, ob Schülerinnen und Schüler historische Quellen inhaltlich besser erfassen, wenn sie eine konkrete Lesestrategie zur Bearbeitung von Quellen nutzen. Dabei sollten zwei Ziele im Mittelpunkt stehen. Zum einen das Kennenlernen und/oder Vertiefen von Lesestrategien zur Bearbeitung von Quellen und die dadurch inhaltlich gehaltvollere Erfassung von historischen Quellen im Zuge der Anwendung der Lesestrategien bei der Analyse von Quellen. Diesen Zielen und der Beantwortung der Fragestellung sollte sich in Form einer Aktionsforschung genähert werden.

Telling stories in conversations is intricately interwoven with the interactive and local functions of story telling.
