There is no right way to heal—only the way that works for you. Heal Loud Or Heal Quietly—Just Heal is a deeply affirming guide for anyone navigating their emotional journey outside the spotlight or under the weight of pressure to “get better fast.” Whether your healing looks like journaling in solitude or speaking your truth at full volume, this book reminds you that your process is enough. No comparison. No shame. No timeline. Some wounds are loud—bursting to be spoken. Others are quiet—processed in private. Both matter. Both are valid. This book meets you wherever you are. It offers grounded insight and emotional clarity for letting go, making peace, forgiving slowly, and choosing yourself over and over again. You’re allowed to fall apart and not explain it to anyone. You’re allowed to bloom in silence. You’re allowed to take your time. This isn’t about healing to please others. It’s about coming back to yourself. The truth is, there’s no badge for doing it publicly. No bonus points for keeping it all hidden. All that matters is that you keep walking. Even when it’s hard. Even when no one’s clapping. Because the moment you choose to heal—regardless of how it looks—is the moment your future begins to change.

The Golden Window of Silence integrates the use of silence as spiritual discipline and its abusive use by systemic structures. Silence may be used as a lifegiving practice or in a destructive way at all levels of societal systems. One of the contentions of The Golden Window of Silence is that when one uses silence to listen to all levels, one may find the source of all non-violent communication. It is by this means that silence becomes one of the most powerful means of social justice. "Proceeds from book sales go to Sunbear Community Alliance, a Texas Non-Profit Corporation."

I am working on healing from the effects of child sexual abuse. I thought up most of the poems while walking in the woods. Nature is the place that I feel the safest now and as a child. I still connect outside better than I do inside. I kept the abuse a secret for 30 yrs. Once my mind started to free the memories, I was flood with them. I would have Flashbacks that word put me back to that age feeling as I did then. There were body memories that made my body feel the way it did when the abuse happen. Some times it would take me days to get over these. They would hit any time and any place. I had help from my doctors, my therapist, medications and even hospital stays. I was diagnosed with PTSD, DID major depression and anxiety disorder. It is full of ups and downs. This as been a rough journey, but one well worth it. This is my journey thru poems and journaling. A journey that is still going. I hope this book helps you on your own journey.
