"Letters of Euler, on Different Subjects in Natural Philosophy Addressed to a German Princess, With Notes, and a Life of Euler, Vol. 2 of 2" is the latter half of a series publishing the letters of mathematician Leonhard Euler. The intended recipient of these letters was Friederike Charlotte of Brandenburg-Schwedt and her younger sister Louise, all of which were written between 1760 and 1762. The letters were initially published as a result of the insistence of Catherine II who believed that they were treasures the general public deserved access to.
